One of the most valuable lessons yet. I’ve been using the drop D trick for awhile but didn’t have a clue about the others. The DADGAD one is a huge time saver. Thanks

Like all genius ideas, this is really simple to understand & makes you think why you've never seen it/thought of it before.

Thanks a lot 👍😊
Most welcome 😊
It really messes with my head trying to work it out but I did learn the trick with the 5 top strings capoed at the 4th fret in order to play songs in the absolute key of E, but using C shapes. So if the song uses E, F#m, A, and B, you use the C shape (with the low open E string in the bass), Am shape, F, anf G shapes. It also gives you an E power chord at the 7th fret of the A string, with the open E, which you should think of as another C (relative to the capo).
Cool lesson, thank you.
Yep you bet! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Hi, as you are the best teacher on YT for acoustic blues , could you learn us "Lonesome Dog Blues" from Lightnin' Hopkins : because it's a howling guitar , without distorsion, that only black bluesmen know how to play. 🎸🥰 Thanks for your videos. 👍Greatings from Paris 🗼.Marie-Aimée
Thanks! Ill check it out and add those to my list- Thanks for watching and commenting!
Great lesson, what is the music you are playing in the intro, very nice, do you have a tab for purchase for the song? Thanks for the information.
Thanks so much! The intro song is just a quick etude I wrote with some of the ideas that im teaching in the lesson. I have the tabs and charts available for FGA Members. Thanks for watching and commenting!

M. Gabe Carter plays a sound between Black keys and Jr Kimbrough... Often he is alone, keeping his groove during all the song.... Interesting I think. Thank you again for your video, from France !
Hey, what’s the name of the tune in Super Drop E? Or were you just noodling a tasty lick? 🍜
Great video. 🙏🏻
Thanks Im glad you liked that part- Its just a boom chuck thing I played using the C shape. Thanks for watching and commenting!
You mean that I can sell 3 of my 11 guitars because I don’t need them to be in alternate tunings? 😂
Luckily, I get to keep the one in open G!
Haha 😆 - Thanks for watching and commenting!
