I can speak for myself at least. I solo travelled to the continent earlier this year to see for myself. Everybody thought I was crazy for going alone and for the first time but, I loved it. There are more people out there like myself who are willing and able to make the trip. The narrative of Africa is changing. This interview was value-packed. Akon is so right about the little things we take for granted in America is value in Africa. I witnessed it in Nigeria, Lagos.. How everyone was elated and celebrating in the streets that the electricity power was on for a few hours..Most people had generators, but then there’s the cost factor of petroleum to run the generator. Its a catch 22,.. Then there’s the pharmaceutical drugs, my personal take I witnessed was China distributors control with the government.. That was like 6 years ago. Black American is definitely needed in Africa to impact a change..Keep prayers alive for the success for Black American and Africa..Everyone needs to go to Africa, I guarantee you’ll do self reflection..👍👍💕
