I came to say the same thing. Sometimes the terms 'trafficking' and 'smuggling' are mistakenly treated as synonyms, allowing willing participants of a smuggling op to be treated as forced trafficking victims which could lead to them getting legal status from it instead of a one-way ticket home. These people were more than willing to be smuggled in, they were PAYING for it.
