I play this with a unit progression method for a loss: 1u, 2u, 3u, 5u, 8u, 13u… etc. and when you win you can drop two steps back; ie: win 13u bet 5u, win 5u bet 2u. I like playing this way personally, but maybe it’s because I just haven’t hit an unlucky streak on four deck blackjack yet.

I have done it before actually how I learned to play. I would do that and watch what other people did at the table. I can tell you one thing for sure. Not too many people at the table were thrilled with me playing like that. I did think it was a good way to learn though. Definitely a lot more fun playing now knowing how to play right

You have 14, dealer has a 10 up. No bust says stay, basic says hit and a positive count in the decks agree with no bust and say to stay. Hitting 14 you have about a 56% chance of busting. The dealer w 10 up will bust about 20% of the time.

I play this way. But I always make same bet everytime, I double and split most of the time, but mostly lose on doubles and mostly win on splits, I going to say I win 3 out of 5 sessions. I start with 2000 and bet 100 per hand. I would say every session would be a losing session but I always cash out when I'm 300 or more ahead at the end of a shoe, then I'll go eat of play video poker or whatever then go back to the table. It seems to work in my favor more often then not I belive because I can cash out when I want, one thing I have noticed is I am down from the beginning the best I can do is get even and cash out. I have played many shoes that I break even or up or down just 100.

    • @GaryLuKOTH

@@GaryLuKOTH I agree with you it is not in my favor, I play three hands at a time this way I believe I get more aces, I'm not interested in counting cards, and keep my bets the same as up and down bets only makes me lose, my winning are small at 300 to 400, the most I ever won is 2000, I only sit down with 2000 and have only lost the full 2000 a few times. I like to play the shortest session possible, I hate it when I sit down and am down 3 to 600 right off the bat, I have tried using the little 21 cards but have not had much luck with them, seems the only way to win is to count cards that I know of? This wasn't really the best example of how bad the no-bust strategy really is. The player in this match really didn't have many hands different than basic strategy and the ones he did have, where he stayed to avoid busting, actually ended up working out regardless because the dealer had a hand and the next card would have busted the player anyway. A lot of no-bust strategies also do not allow for splitting or doubling. I've back tested these strategies and they really do not work in the long run. Sure, you could get lucky, but statistically you are much better off using basic strategy.
