the only ones of this class without the conversion to the cab doors work the gourock and circle lines, i regularly worked on the largs buster set as it was dubbed by us, on the brake handle someone actually wrote it,
Alan Carr sure knows a lot about Class 318s! I remember travelling on them on the inauguration of the “Ayrline” - the electrification of the Glasgow-Ayr/Largs lines. Luxury compared to the crud DMUs and even the class 303s on the Gourock/Wemyss Bay lines.
I wish they still ran because the class 380 isn't really fasinating. Hopefully some day this year the class 380 will be replaced but that definetly won't happen :(
Hi there, yes it is in the pipeline, we will be doing the Class 320 next followed by the Class 334 and Class 156. We want to do a longer reviews for the Pendolino, CrossCountry Voyager, Transpennine Class 350 and the East Coast 225.We are working through the train that use Glasgow Central before moving onto other trains.
Very fond of these. Glad they're still in service.
Some of the Class 317s could be moved to ScotRail and converted to Class 318s and to be operated on some of the routes in the Strathclyde areas.
The class 318s are like class 317s that gave birth to a 150/0
@@Great_WesternTVFan lol😂😂😂
I really like the class 318 they remind me of the class 150.
The 150/0 Scottish Cousin. Gotta travel on one of them before they're withdrawn.

The legendary train family
This is basically a mix of a class 150/1 and class 317
The 317s gave birth to the 150s
They are along with class 320s
Train 21 is now underway and trains 1-12 are being fitted with new cctv systems and sockets

My dad described the 380 as "minging"
156s and 380s are good they don’t need to be replaced yet
The 318 still runs regularly on the argyll line and north clyde line. Go to Partick and you'll see a few 318s and 320s
@@ZLDSmogless 318 also runs to neilston usually after 5pm
I get travel sickness on the 380s not much air comes into these units unlike the units with opening windows

Is it just me that thinks this is genuinely a comfortable train?
Kirsty Walker it seems to have the most comfortable seats compared to newer trains in Scotland
This is my favourite EMU. It is comfortable, fast, enjoyable, and has loads of character.

Class 317 + Class 150/0 = Class 318
