Great video GreenBean, I love the footage of the rides and the way you capture the feel of the park. What did you get to eat in the food court? Also, Great Adventure was a once a year trip my whole childhood, Roaring Thunder! And the fudge shop. In the years before my move to CA, we brought our students there for senior trip. My last trip there in 2015 was a blast.

I think you mean Rolling Thunder Mr. Krevat! haha
and yes I LOVED that Coaster. Its my first "Big" Coaster of my life. The first was the JetStar at the seaside Boardwalk but Rolling Thunder was a major part of my childhood. I loved going to Amusement parks as a kid. Still do, but there was a deeper magic there as a kid. Pure and innocent. Just fun for fun's sake. The place was made for it. Fun and only fun! That;s why I conider myself an enthusiast. It's the last bastion of all energy moving toward the most fun we can create. It still amazes me.
Thanks for the compliment. Clint Novak has inspired me in many ways. Getting to meet and spend time with him was a big moment for me. he's the coolest! 😄

@@FullTimeCoasterTour I always mess up the names of things! You discovered my weakness. Great Adventure was definitely my childhood location as well. Action Park as well. The Cyclone and bumper cars in Coney Island was every month. My father grew up on Brighton 7, a 10 minute walk on the boardwalk from everything. My grandfather still lived in the same apartment my whole childhood. So Nathans, Mrs. Stalls Knishes, and Onion Rolls were the family staples. But the annual trip to NJ was always an amazing day. They added something else when I was a teenager, Lightening Loops? Just a quick double loop, or maybe a single loop? Once forward, then backwards, which was a big deal at the time. That and the Free Fall. Nothing scarier than hearing the release click on that one!

@@BillyBillstein Hey man. Lightning loops was my first looping coaster and there is still one of those loops in existence. It's called Diamond back and is at a place called Frontier City in OK. I'll be going there this year to ride that exact coaster t relive my (and your) childhood. It's gonna be a big day for me.
      Thats so cool Jeremy!

Nothing will ever beat 1990’s laser tag. We used to destroy each other. Great times.

Reminds me of the 80's but we called it "Dirt bomb Fights". hahahaha Always the potential for a rock in there though 😂😂
