As a German, growing up where "potato pancake" (Reibekuchen) are a stable of local cuisine, it is weird seeing them so thick 😳 😅 and calling them pancakes always triggers my wife 🙈 And as preparation for our upcoming visit, this Video is an essential help for us. I lived in Germany for 3 years…I loved them over there. And I really need the Germany pavillion to have speghetti eis. Yum! I can make something similar at home, but it isn’t as good as it was in Germany.

Love this video, Molly. The regular cheese arepa doesn’t have any jalapeño or spice because traditional Colombian dishes don’t include spices like that. It’s a misconception that the majority of Latin food is spicy. Arepas de queso are usually a little bland but they’re still a great snack.

TOTALLY remember Peter on top of the UK buildings. I have pics! I loved it because it was so unique compared to the others that are just scattered around the planters and lawns. I was disappointed when Peter moved back down.
Did I spend an inordinate time looking for it earlier? Yes. Worth it because I do have actual photographic proof of the bygone days when the Peter Pan topiary was up on the roof in the UK pavilion.
So many yummy gluten free options this year!! Also as a Canadian I can say we do say "eh" usually at the end of a sentence confirming people agree with us. "The flower and garden food menu looks amazing...eh?"

That’s awesome. We were there a few weeks ago during festival of arts. It was a great time. I had no idea it would be 90 degrees in February though. Ha
I am most looking forward to the drinks. Cocktails, cider and beers look really good. For food I want to try the bison ribeye, grilled oyster and honey mustard chicken flatbread. I am noticing allergies hitting Floridians more than ever. I never had allergies when I lived in Florida. I have been in Georgia for almost 20 years and allergies get me here twice per year.
