I’m 73. I have to have a flashlight in my pocket at all times. Amazing how you can’t find things you set down or drop, but add a quality flashlight with at least 3 brightness levels and VIOLA…there it is. I still do armed security and a Fenix TK20R with dual tail switches is my current fav. Instant light or INSTANT strobe is so nice. Nothing goes faster than light. I know this isn’t for everyone, but I’ve gotten used to using the two Bibles on my phone, instead of carrying a hard copy. I don’t mind the smaller size of the screen versus a regular Bible and I often use the audio option with ear buds. It’s handy, always with me, and adds no weight to my backpack.

Trauma Shears - Leatherman Raptor Is my fav, been carrying those for almost 5 years now, folds up nice and has a glass breaker as well as a seat belt cutter on it in addition to a few other utility items. Very efficient for edc and great quality
You should try the Hunter Constantine belt. Actual game changer, so much more comfortable than the nexbelt I used to wear. My Warpoet Nexbelt served me well for years, and I tried the Hunter Constantine belt out of curiosity because a bunch of people on youtube said it was much more comfortable. They were not lying.

I am 17, going to a state university. I can't carry guns, and because its a state university, the biggest knife I can carry is a small small pocket knife. I like these videos. I carry a steel body flashlight that is super bright, my backpack always has an IFAK, and always has my Bible in it (It is nice to see that pop up in the video). My car is fitted out with enough gear to make it home without any trouble, if I have to ditch the car. I carry more, but I don't want to yammer on to much. Thank you, and God Bless you!
You can find a Christian support network and come out of college a lump of coal transformed into a diamond from the pressure of professors, peers, and the world to reject your faith. Others enter college and cannot withstand the mockery, the hatred openly expressed, or the temptations of the world and find it easier to leave their faith. This story is nothing new, but the colleges themselves, both the professors and administrators, have chosen a side, and it is not yours. When I attended college in the eighties, few of my professors agreed with me, but they welcomed the debate. By the time my kids attended, those debates would have had me reported to the dean. I hope you have a great college experience, but keep your head on a spiritual and academic swivel. Just because the person at the front of the room says it, and fifty other people agree, that doesn't make it true.
John’s conviction and charisma when talking about basically anything ( especially stabbing and cutting with a knife ) could prolly talk me into walking into an active bear den and that it would be alright👍🏼..😂😂 legend🤜🏼🤛🏼

Always love to see your EDC! -- Watch wise I rock the Garmin Instinct 2X Tactical, the flashlight on it is also surprisingly useful and because it's a low power watch the Solar power can really let you not have to charge it nearly as often in the summer time (GPS use dependent). I still carry a flashlight as for my job it's come in surprisingly useful all the time. I like seeing how your EDC grew and then backed off to what is more sustainable. My own had to do the same to where I also leave a better equipped EDC bag in the truck or commuter backpack, I even removed the pocket knife from the pocket to the backpack most of the time and have a Leatherman Signal for the pocket knife day to day. Nice vid!

Excellent video (as usual). I had thought that I carried as much as I legally can (not yet 21, living in the no-defense burning state), but there are a few things I need to add to my EDC that I legally can (such as a flashlight). Also, ESV is an excellent choice!
1 option to replace your trauma shears is a folding utility knife using the hooked carpet/linoleum blade. Great as a seat belt cutter and removing clothing for wound treatment with reduced risk of additional injury. Plus the blades are replaceable so they are always sharp and ready to work.
Fantastic update! I love looking at this collection of tools compared to your first one and seeing the evolution into an even more practical and up to date solutions package. I will say that Milspecmonkey used to carry a set of mini trauma shears for a long time. As the name implies they were smaller than regular shears but still as functional. I wonder if those can still be purchased somewhere and added specifically to the ankle kits.
Holy smokes I still remember your everyday carry load out video 8 years ago 😢! Kinda miss those days … Hahhaha and I checked and my comment is still there lol! Be well and god bless
