Let's think about this. There are more people fleeing South America and seeking refuge in the US than ever before. Why are they fleeing? (1) because the violence has grown out of control due to the flood of guns from the US and (2) because climate change is making it impossible to live in their home countries. Why do they come to America? Because one group of people go on the news 100 times per day and tell them that the US border is wide open and we just let everyone stay.
It's not the Democrats that are responsible for the flood of guns. It's not the Democrats that deny the reality of climate change. It's not the Democrats that invite the migrants to come 100 times per day.
We could send them back, but we have to follow our laws and our laws require them to get their day in court. The Democrats want to hire more judges and lawyers to process the people faster and remove the ones that are not allowed to stay faster, but it's that other group (not the Democrats) that continue to cut funding.

He does not even have the same loyalty he used to have in the party.
Forget Trump for a minute. A lot of voters are not happy about perceived losses of rights when it comes to abortion, LGBTQ+, education opportunities for blacks, student loan forgiveness, and more. As a party, the GOP has been driving away a lot of voters.
I'm an independent and I try to stay objective and all I'm saying is that it does not seem like the trend has been towards more voters voting Republican and that does not bode well for the outcome you desire. You should brace yourself.
Plus, most Democrats and true independents have been pleasantly surprised by what Biden has managed to get done. I'm sure you think he's horrible, but you were going to think that regardless of his performance.

Razor wire is a very good deterrent. If it didnt work, the military wouldn't use it for defensive structures.
Not necessarily. In Desert Storm, we used razor wire to make compounds to hold enemy prisorers. The prisoners would routinely go right through it, to get a soccer ball that went through, throw the ball back in and return back through the wire. Nothing we could do except watch.
@terrywoolard7505 That is true, but it is still better than nothing. Some determined people will go for it, but if you can't build a wall, and you want to slow people down, it is a good option. We set up razor wire in the army to slow down, redirect, and channel people so it does work to a degree. Also, it is used on prison walls as well to do the same thing. If it was completely useless, then no one would use it. Also, I was trained in its use and how to get around it. So I know it does work. The main point is that these illegals need to be stopped, and the current administration is stopping the states from doing all they can to halt these people. They would build their own walls if biden wasn't keeping them from doing it, so they are doing the best they can.
