Quote the Polo, nevermore
lol
Raven should have told her, "I'm a loner, Missy... a rebel"
I remember Raven said that when Stevie Richards didn't want to do the Barron Von Stevie thing he had a hissy fit in front everyone in the locker room. He told Stevie don't ever do that again because he was the boss. Raven sure had a lot of stroke backstage.
"Dressing down" - investigating his human tool.
While I am all for Myssy doing what she wants and becoming an announcer etc etc Joey Styles was as big a part of ECW as Paul, and as much as I loved the greats ( JR,Lance Russell,Gordon Solie etc etc ) only Joey could have done that one
he needed a heel color commentary to be paired with, thats the one thing ECW was lacking sometimes they had one, but sometimes they didn't
@@popeyedoyle6360 Agree. My favorite WWF personalities (including wrestlers, commentators, managers, etc.) were Bobby Heenan and Jesse Ventura when they did heel commentary with Vince or Gorilla. Heel commentary is very funny and the most entertaining part of a show. All wrestling shows should've had a face play-by-play guy and a heel commentator. Vince hit gold with those two on the mic.
Agree.
Missy was in love with him (according to Raven)
"according to Raven"
Remember y'all.... Raven was once known as Johnny Polo.... that would have been a much better fit
Missy claimed she slept with him.
she was looking for a nice jewish boy
And " Scotty The Body"@@Donathon-qx8kq
Who would you listen too in terms of wrestling angles and putting a match together? Raven or missy?
*to
Now? No brainer.
At this point how long has he been in the business? Who was longer tenured in the business?
Unless you feel that respect for people who came before you and all that applies only to other men?
Russo.
@@ButWhatIfItIs are you saying Missy Hyatt outranks Raven because she had been in the business as a valet for three years longer than him? By this point in 95/96 Scott had been a full-time worker, had backstage roles producing WWF, had announced and also created his own unique character of Raven... Missy had been a valet, a go-go dancer and a bartender... Its not just about how long you've been doing something, it's about talent, experience, success and creativity.
@@joefosh my point exactly. I also never said that only men deserve respect.... so not sure why they're bringing gender into it (although I could hazard a guess)
If I'm being honest, I have very little respect for a lot of wrestlers, male or female, from the 80's and 90's. I certainly don't think they should be held up as role models. Druggy, alcoholics that didn't respect their partners and children enough to stop having sex with anything that would let them, bullying people in the company because they could, ruining other people's careers etc etc.
In the words of Mel Gibson "Just shut up and bllllllllllloooooow meeeeeeee"
Looking like she's from the Black Hole Sun music video 😂
If 1996 is the only year your not up on anything that went in in ecw it's welll worth checking it out. In my mind it was easily the best year the company had product wise. It could be argued that 1995 was better. If I were objective 95 probably was superior. But I loved ecw in 96. The entire year of 96 ecw tv remastered with the original music is sitting on internet archive. It's a great way to spend a day or two.
Where is it with the original soundtrack for the intro? The WWF channel has it but it's not the real ECW.
Kimona was so hot, still is.
She gotta be 50 by now
She even had a song written about her back in the day: "My Kimona" by The Knack.
She looks like a real life version of Miss Piggy.
Which is still amply more palatable than your mug will ever be 😂
AWF was awesome. It was all the old school guys like Brunzell, Slaughter, etc.
Missy is talking about getting a call on her flip phone in 1995. Pretty sure those didn’t exist yet. And James, 1996 was one of ECW’s best years… you should go back and check out some of those shows.
The Motorola StarTAC was flip phone was out in 95 actually
I had one. They were big but they existed
There was the StarTAC. It wasn't the sleekest thing out at the time, but it had a flip component to it (along with raising the antenna 😂)
Jan 3 1996 first year of flip phone.
Didnt she sleep with raven ?? I thought she claimed it years ago
sure did.
He said they had a one night thing, and he didn't pursue it because he thought she was just looking for a quick bang, which later finds out she was interested in him.
I'm sure she claimed she slept with Sandman too
@@kevthegoat8774 Sandman already claimed that a few times, lol.
@@takerdust Yeah I'm sure Missy said so too
