I love Marzamemi....i have absolutely no problem to drive in Sicily...but you are right..best during daytime :)....or having very good lights on your car...which are put in the right way to shine the road ahead..instead only in front....i had that once.....what a nightmare was that :P.....
I know I have said this way to many times but your videos are just getting better and better! I had to laugh however. Everything you said backroom the closed caption said bathroom!!!
When I visited Marzamemi about 5 years ago, there was a very popular restaurant that served fresh fried Calamari, big portions for the whole family! Yummy.
Such a beautiful 😍 town I have always been fascinated by the lovely blue colours and it seems to me that it has a Greek feel about it. Certainly a must visit. The whole area looks amazing. Love all the fresh produce. Enjoy I'm feeling extremely envious. Thanks for sharing
Alfredo,Ester,we will be staying in marzamemi next month, also in your area. Been to Sicily many times.we live in your neighborhood,Harpswelll on the coast of maine Bill&Tracy
Hello, me and my mum love your videos (my mum used to live in Pachino and Avola, when she was a young girl). Just out of curiosity, are you of Italian descent, too?
Well, Sicily is beautiful! It’s in my heart although I have never been there, but feel like I was. It’s because I’ve been looking for 6 months for property to buy in Sicily but ended up buying in mainland of Italy. But it is on my list of the places to visit. I love it already and who knows if I love it more than the place in mainland then I will have to sell and buy in Sicily❤️
Quite surprising that nobody remembers that during WW2, Marzamemi is where the first Allied infantry to set foot in Occupied Europe landed. C Company of the British 1st Dorsets on 10 July 1943, followed by the rest of the Malta Brigade.
10:32 There it says “Bottarga” not Bottega. :) Bottarga is a typical specialty of the Mediterranean coasts, consisting of tuna eggs (in that case it is Bottarga di Tonno Rosso). PS: “Bottega” instead is a shop.
Alfredo, Ester I should be arriving in Catania in a few weeks any advice on the best way to get a taxi, without being ripped off, from the airport to Mascali. I had thought of bus then train but unsure of where to get tickets any help would be appreciated.
Hello guys, I'm from Lentini. We have a 3 days medieval festival in honour of sicilian poet Jacopo Da Lentini wo whas born there from 2 to 4 of September...I'm glad you partecipate. The are a lot of medieval costumes with medieval music and artists...
Love you guys! very informative and lively video. sorry, but I have to say this your cinematography needs improvement to attract more audience, invest in a better camera and filming methods.
Salted cod here comes from cold weather countries like Norway. While salt has been used to preserve everything for thousands of years, I would guess the Normans

15:06: #1 or “hashtag letter I” ❤️ Marzamemi?
Hashtag probably!

Thank you yes I know I mis -spoke. I saw Bottarga di tonno shown later in the video and so it was on my mind.

Ciao there are taxis at the airport. There are no trains directly to Mascali. I use Interbus for smaller town destinations. Have fun, Eszter
Singer tube buonasera🌹

Thank you for the tour. Perhaps it is "hashtag I love ❤Marzamemi?" Are we supposed to put a loved one in the heart for the photo?
How far from your home is this area?
About 2 hours. We stay over in Avola when we go there which is 30 minutes away. Ciao Mary!!!
Love you guys! very informative and lively video. sorry, but I have to say this your cinematography needs improvement to attract more audience, invest in a better camera and filming methods.
GRAZIE! We appreciate that!
Did the Arabs introduce baccala into Sicily or some other group.

Then again, the Venetians lay claim to the recipe!
Ester you speak good Italian, doesn't Alfred speak any Italian???????
A bit :)
