Penang is Dap's flagship store and Charlie changed the Rocket brand from "marginalised cinapek party" to Mainstream politics (ie potent enough for UMNO to sue). Therefore I kinda understand why Penang still needs iron-fist approach.
Selangor, however, being the LAND of fencesitters, may not be such strong converts yet (one small blip from their MPs got blown up catastrophicaply). In another words, we still need beacons like OKM to assure the public of the Party's integrity.

It’s clear that when party struggles are overshadowed by personal ambitions and the pursuit of political dynasties, the party is on a path to irrelevance. True leadership involves recognizing when it’s time to step aside with grace. Contributions to the country will not be forgotten, but they should never be seen as a justification for personal agendas.
Equally, the party’s decline seems inevitable when those who should serve as counterbalances fail to rise and defend its core values. Positive growth comes at a cost-and it requires standing up when it truly matters.
I get the feeling Dr. OKM has unfinished business with the party. Please keep the option of reentering active politics OPEN. Many thanks for continuing to work toward a better Malaysia. We pray for many more leaders like you to set the tone for the country.

I think we are fortunate to be living in the age of podcasts. People have to be or act to be transparent whether they like it or not. Similar to how the internet changed how we do business, once upon a time after taking over my family's business, i threw everything online and published my prices openly, not long later my father got multiple calls from bosses of our industry scolding him "how you teach your son to do business?!", they were not happy because 1) they don't publish prices, 2) their customers were using my prices as the benchmark, 3) they don't know how to do costing and pricing.

Many local veterans were chopped before GE under so called rejuvenation process, or under central committee's strategy of commanders from the sky.
The end result was many leaderships were being replaced by his cartel and gangs who are incompetent for the job except bootlicking.

OKM is still a member and he thinks he is still useful to the party and yet he behaves like KJ! He is using this podcast to shoot at LGE whereas the latter can only seek recourse through the party. If OKM wants to criticise LGE or whoever for that matter, then resign from Dap and join forces with your fan, KJ.
