what will always infuriate me is that nothing was done for her comfort, they had determined she was dying and to cut out the babe quickly. Nothing could have been done to at least not make her awake for this? In his so called loved, he had his wife butchered like an animal with no thought to her suffering.
@@notimportant3932 yes! This scene made me so mad. She was literally having a panic attack and viserys just goes „it’s alright I love you“ as if she isn’t being brutally cut open at the moment with multiple people holding her down.
I agree. She deserved better than what happened to her.

Well the show is based on the middle ages, so no anaesthesia then ... a lot of the operations we take for granted have only been possible for about 150 years.
@@insulanerin7601 They could've given her more milk of the poppy (their version of anesthesia) but they won't because they're afraid it might harm the baby. The whole cutting the stomach open is all to 'save' baby's life. They can wait it out (some women will take a couple of days to give birth), but they think that it'd harm the baby so they decided to cut her open.
Aemma deserved better. She was butchered
The actor who played aemma did such an incredible job playing her character.,The C section really feels like your watching a real person go through something that terrifying (The performance gives me chills everytime)
She accepted her fait as a "royal womb", but only in the labor she was completely treated as one, by the only man that all of her life saw her for more of just that, to only see her as only this now. In death she wanted to be treated like a human being.

Poor aemma her mother also died at child birth and she had one child as well but unlike her mother she got to see her daughter grow up
Is there even a way to save her on that situation? Im curious
@@g17yt99 I think it could have been avoided by just not keep getting her pregnant from such a young age but I don’t think they could have saved her
