I sold my 6600's but did keep a 8x 6600xt rig. They are great efficient cards. I will have to save this video for the overclock settings you use for RVN. I also see the 6700xt coming down in price big time. I am tempted to build a rig of them but we will see. I need to see what I want to do post merge. I may spend extra to get some mini asics from ipollo that are just crazy efficient.
I like the 6600 and 6600xt. They are not the most powerful, but I love their efficiency! Things will get pretty interesting in a few days, with the ETH merge, for sure! I would also like to get some mini ASICS, but currently I am heavily invested into GPUs and solar!
@@ThreeFoxCo yeah I am still trying to source some good prices panels. There is a pallet of 30 panel 250 watts for $3000 with free shipping. But they are used. But may be good for a bank to power a few mini ASICS. I just want to try and get better panels. I have one mini asic ordered. Hopefully it comes soon. Still waiting for belay mining to ship it.
@@jtravaglini yeah man, my solar is doing great. Currently I am producing ~65kWh per day. Summer is still some months away, which will increase my daily production. So far my solar system saved me 1000's of $ on power bills...
@@ThreeFoxCo yeah thats really good. I need to talk to my electrician and figure out how I should do it. I may go full off grid so I can bypass all the applications from my electric company and also all the stuff with the county and inspections they will want to do. I just need to see what he things. I also have some opportunities within the next year that would cause me to relocated so I am not sure running a grid tie or even investing in solar would make sense just now. But a small off grid system to run a few mini miners may just be the plan for now. Something I can move more easily and add on to in the future if my work does require me to relocate. The places I would have to go also have much more sun than here in the North East so that would help also.
Thanks buddy! I am trying very hard to improve each time and to bring more content to our community. I think the merge will be a great opportunity for fresh content! Have fun and get your mining operation to full capacity! Take care!
@@ThreeFoxCo I’ve been buying RVN… same with Neoxa…. I used to mine raven some time ago before block rewards got cut in half… and the main reason for me personally is HEAT…. Awesome video!
@@dmining65 my mining garage is pretty cool. Also, i have quite a large solar system, so post merge, if it becomes unorofitable, i can still mine during the sun-hours, which will offset my power 100%. Currently I offset about 50% of my 18ckWh bill.
Correct, not THE most efficient, but ONE of the most efficient GPUs. There are plenty of GPUs that are far worse, which gives the 6600 a rightful spot.
Did you know that the RX6600 is one of the most efficient GPUs, even on coins other than ETH?
Ordered 2 the other day... one showed up today and getting the second in on Thursday
@@dumpsterfire6732 Awesome! Let me know how you like them!

Biggest problem is creating rigs with lots of gpus, high density cost skyrockets.
Sorry boss not even close to the most efferent AMD card for Raven.
