I was recommended the Genesis AI and I am coming from the Picasso. The Genesis is gonna be the ITE like my Picasso. My chief worry is the rechargeable battery setup. Is this something I should worry about in terms of battery life? It seems from reading the forums, it generally last a whole day, is that true? I take off my Picassos during lunch time for about an hour. How much charge is achieved with 1 hour? I'm excited a bit but also worried also going to a rechargeable. My audiologist was surprised I was approved for it and she went with the signature series due to budgetary reasons.

I am so glad to hear you are doing some research before jumping into a new hearing aid! I think you will be amazed at the battery life on the genesis AI. Most likely, you wont even have to think about charging them during your lunch time, these should have no problem providing hearing assistance for the entire day! @Ziphearing Good morning! Thank you kindly for taking the time to answer my question. Do you know if there is a remote option like the Picasso has the Surflink mobile? I understand that the Genesis AI uses the phone app, but I use my remote quite a lot for various setups. Reading the Starkey website, I'm not seeing a remote option. Thank you again.

Pretty outdated at this point, and I think unavailable even, would recommend something newer

Terrible software application. The settings are in multiple areas. For example there is a volume and there is a left right in different places. If you set the volume at knock out your left right setting. Sometimes I can find a setting sometimes I can't and usually I'm busy trying to listen to someone and I looking like I'm playing with my phone because I can't figure out the application. Sothe top hearing aid itself doesn't have amazing sound only connect to one Bluetooth device etc. and then has bad software to control it so kind of ruins all the functions it has. I absolutely advise you not to buy this brand.
