El Ghazi and Yousef Atal called for the extermination of the Jewish state as the "river to the sea" means. Solomon by contrast only expressed support for his people which had suffered a monstrous attack whether you care to acknowledge it or not. Never mind the fact that Spurs and the other clubs can do what they want irrespective of each other in terms of discipline. Poor comparison lacking understanding
I appreciate the comment. I think it’s important to engage in dialogue. Solomon did not express the support for his people - he made falsified claims about bombing hospitals which were not verified. He posted inflammatory rhetoric. These two other players have the intention only to call for freedom for their people. You have misinterpreted that phrase which is often done. I think truthfully, you have shown a lack of understanding
@@SoFarUnsaid the bombed hospital saga, which was later on very much verified by BBC to be caused by hamas, was an outragous allegation in such a sensitive period of time, where ppl all over the world fed up with constant hatred against Israel. Solomon was only protecting it's people. And as for the comparison with El Ghazi - the Germany government is more sensitive than others to the calls of annihilating Israel from the map (after the holocaust) and rightly so. At no point Solomon encouraged the hurt of the palestinian people whatsoever .
I stand with the Jewish community too. But the propaganda of murdering innocents I disagree with - which is what he was spreading. This is about truth. Not religion.

It’s amazing how many people are influenced by media and propaganda, when you talk about Ukraine you immediately support Ukraine, when someone mentions Palestine it’s controversial. Whenever someone dosent know about Palestine I remind them of al nakba I think everyone should know it
The man supported his country in a war they didn’t start… the vast majority of Israelis support their country, so you are upset that Manor made posts about it in public? Its his decision to do so just like it was El Ghazi, its seems to me that you blame Manor for the actions taken against El Ghazi, which I don’t quite understand. I disagree that Manor should apologize, he supports his country in a war just like you and I would in the same situation.
The war started in 1948 when land was occupied. I believe if something is wrong it should be condemned. The killing of children regardless whoever they are is wrong.
@@SoFarUnsaidIf you want to talk politics we can talk politics, but I am trying to make far more simpler point. I don’t care whether you support Israel or Palestine, but at its base Manor is simply supporting his country. I don’t understand why you can’t separate the player supporting his country from what you think of his country.
@@SoFarUnsaid When it comes to politics, let me ask you this: when you say the land was occupied in 1948, which parts exactly of the land? Do you mean the proposed lands of the Palestinian state by the UN plan which were conquered in the 1948 war, which the Arabs started? Or do you mean the entirety of modern day Israel, because would then imply you have a problem with the actual Jewish immigration into the region during the late eighteen-hundreds up till 1948. But once again, I don’t see how you dislike for one player’s country of origin stops you from supporting your club.
It was more Spurs. They decided to act differently to how other clubs acted. Other players who supported Palestine were punished. Manor was propagating propaganda that were proven to be lies and not punished.
1917. Land is promised to Europeans who are not there on which Arabs live. Europeans support violence, killing and rape which is well documented in 1947-1948 against the Arabs.
An israeli player in turkey was let go from his club and even arrested because he tried to bring awarness to the 130+ hostages held by hamas. There are consequences for players from both sides. On another note, you quote several bias sources as to why israel is fully in the wrong and then say "it is straightforward". In reality, it is anything but straightforward. Death is wrong on both sides, my heart breaks for the loss of life on both sides. Manor has mainly been trying to bring awareness to the hostages (some of them little kids) who have been held for over 100 days!
Thanks for your helpful comment. I really appreciate the dialogue. I have not seen any consequences to Manor Solomon. He was semi celebrating/promoting this war. Can you tell me the name of that Israeli Player? Personally I think the hostages situation is heartbreaking. When I say it is straightforward, what I refer to is indiscriminate bombing that has been condemned worldwide. That is straightforward and wrong. Looking further at the background of the conflict one can look simply at the Geneva convention violations.
@@SoFarUnsaid I never saw Manor celebrating the war. He has mainly focused his posts on bringing the hostages home. That is what anyone would do if they had fellow countrymen being held prisoner - especially when some of them are little kids. The name of the player from Turkey who was arrested and then kicked out of his club (after showing a sign on his hand asking for the hostages to be brought home) is Sagiv Jehezkel. A quick Google search will give you all the info. The Geneva Convention and the whole UN are very often guilty of being hypocrites so you'll have to excuse me for not taking them seriously. Thank you for the respectful dialogue which is unfortunately rare nowadays. (P.S. I am a Chelsea fan)
Thanks for providing this information. His posts may have focused on the hostages. But not always. He was peddling propaganda that was disproven by international news agencies.
In regards to the hostages. My personal opinion is this needs to be immediately settled. They need to be returned. The whole purpose of this video was to show needs to be equality on both sides.
When talking politically both sides could arguably be in the wrong for what's happening in that region at the moment but this ain't politics, it's football. Just enjoy the football mate... Manor isn't going to apologize for supporting his people during a war as most wouldn't and shouldn't have to. I follow him on Instagram and from what I have seen it's just him bringing attention to the issues his people are facing, he isn't putting out hate speech or anything so IMO he has done nothing wrong. The issue also has nothing to do with the club, they should stay impartial for obvious reasons so I would really be disappointed if they decided to side with either Israel or Palestine during this whole thing. Just enjoy the football pal, keep politics out of it, and hopefully, you can find some satisfaction in the fact that Solomon seems to like the medical rooms more than the pitch at the moment.😂
That’s a well reasoned response. Unlike others. However, I do think implausible genocide crosses a line. And that’s what the international court has said. He should not be supporting that. On the flipside sportsman and women who support Palestine are losing their positions.
@@SoFarUnsaid Ok now I don't want to get political but most of the conflicts have been started not by Israel but by Palestine/Hamas/arab nations. This all kicked off again because of the October 7th attack during which about 1.4k mostly civilians were killed with more being kidnapped or taken... during these attacks, they also killed 9 British nationals and another 7 were reported missing. Palestine and other Jihad groups have also tried to bomb Israel and send missiles but are ineffective compared to the Israeli counter-attacks due to their Iron Dome system which blocks all the attacks. I would also argue most of the time pro-Palestinians are better received than pro-Israelis. Most of the Israel attacks are counter-offensive and almost always targeted at Gaza rather than the West Bank. Personally, I do not believe that anyone should be supporting a known terrorist group (If you are loyal to Gazans unfortunately you are loyal to Hamas since they run the place). Manor is expressing his freedom of speech that we are welcome to have here in England, nobody is directly affected by their general opinions in this country and that's what makes it good... I will say just from my own seeing of things unfold I do think pro israels are looked down upon more than that of the pro Palestine ppl. Just to finish up I would like your opinion (in a civil manner like we have kept things so far) what is your opinion on Hamas, do you recognize that Israel nationals also have hardships and do you condemn Hamas for the attack last year and especially the killings of those British Nationals? As stated before tho politics and sports should be kept separate no matter who you side with and your opinions...
@@SoFarUnsaid Ok but how about the timeline even before 1917? If we want to get technical and say who had the right to what land first then the Jews had that land first, then the Christians before the Arabs and Islam decided to expand. You also cannot blame the European powers as we essentially took anything that benefited us and we were at war with the Ottomans at the time. As earlier stated you also cannot blame the Jews either as this was their homeland that they have been driven from multiple times by many different groups (mainly Muslims). It is their homeland, Holyland the centre of their religion and beliefs which is why they went there. One can cry about anywhere being occupied by anyone throughout history so it's best to not bother with History (especially when it comes to the religion of Islam and their lands as Islamic expansionism was one of the worst times in History for many people of different countries and religions). Please don't avoid the actual questions I asked though by trying to direct the conversation away to another point... we can have a good and friendly discussion about this as it is something that does need to be discussed so we can all learn more and try and fix the situation in a way that suits everyone. I will also add to my other questions - do you think that the Jewish population shouldn't have access to their homeland and do you agree that it was taken from them? By both Muslims and other groups? Thanks!
I think review biblical history. Jewish nation lost that land as per Old Testament. Then please read the peaceful conquest of Umar the 2nd Caliph of Islam. It is not the right of Europeans to decide on another land where a 3rd population lives. If the existing Arabs in 1917 had a choice in the decision, I would support whatever democratic right they chose.
