The face of the girl at the bakery shop puzzle. "She looks a little strange, she don't look alright", LOL. Mandy, you notice everything, I love it. I got a take you to an art gallery and we can have a cup of coffee and talk about the paintings, lol.
I couldn't tell if it actually was a girl or a scary doll LOLOL. We'd have to be careful, they might kick us out of the art gallery because of my loud ramblings 🤣
I love you so much. Retired teacher who finally got to do puzzling again after 20 years of not having a place to puzzle. Although i always left out a puzzle for my third graders to do. You are such a delight and have given me so many ideas on puzzles to buy now that i have a puzzle room. I'm doing world of Dracula which i love but maybe beyond my skill level. I got cocky because the 500 gallison puzzles were going together so quickly. How wonderful that you are able to bring so much joy to the world. I've watched dozens of your you tube videos and they always cheer me up and make me smile.
Wow, thank you so much for making my day. It's so fulfilling to know that so many are enjoying my videos. 🤗 This really means a lot to me. As for the World of Dracula, you can do it! It's such a fun puzzle to put together, and may not seem as challenging as you think. I actually thought I would struggle with it too, but the whole experience was amazing.
I don’t know how I missed this video but we bought that exact blanc image to try out. It was bright and enjoyable not hard to do. The pieces were so interesting nothing I had experienced before. Thanks for your effort sharing videos.
Thank you, glad you're enjoying them! And thank you for sharing your experience. I still have that blanc puzzle sat on my shelf, and I really need to get a move on with trying it out 😂
Ki puzzles are one of my favorite ones to do. I did midnight in San Francisco and I found it very nice to do. Not too easy but not too difficult. I can’t wait to see you do a review on the Ki puzzles. Take care and thanks for sharing your puzzles with us.
Thank you for sharing your experience! I'm so excited to try them out that I literally just finished filming my intro video for it so that I can get started on them 🤩I was contemplating which ones to work on, but I think I'll just do them all LOL. We shall see!
Some great puzzles! I had never heard of True South( so Im gonna look them up). Nice midnight SF puzzle- maybe a lite challenging I believe those lovely Victorian houses are referred to as ' painted ladies'.
Some interesting jigsaws there. It's always good to try new brands to see what they are like. That coffee one looked good. Thomas Kincaid is one artist that I can't get on with. I did one jigsaw of his called Village Christmas years ago and I found it hard. Never done any of his since, something about his style of art that didn't appeal to me. I'm steadily working my way through my ever growing pile of jigsaws! Look forward to your next video.
I 100% agree with you on the difficulty level of Thomas Kincaid images. I absolutely love them, but they are very challenging to piece together. It probably has to do with the slight blurriness in the art style. The details can be hard to decipher within puzzle pieces. But once they are completed, I find them breathtaking.
i would definitely live in the blue house. very calming. i’m interested to see a video on the blanc puzzle. i see those in target but i’ve never tried one
It looks like such a nice street to live on 😁 I'm looking forward to trying out the blanc puzzle pretty soon. I wonder how much different the puzzling experience is compared to the basic Buffalo sets.
I only have experience with one purchased-as-new KI (Karmin International) puzzle, "Hobbs and Topper" by artist Linda Picken, 550 pieces. The image is outstanding, minimal puzzle dust, no false fits, and no missing pieces. The strange thing was that I had several puzzle pieces where the image was lifting off the puzzle piece. The part that lifted off was the very thinnest, most fragile, foil-like layer. I didn't dare touch the thin wisps of image with my fingers. I used toothpicks to carefully transfer just a dot of glue or two to the puzzle piece and then carefully adjusted the image to fit on top. I let these pieces set overnight. I then was able to work the puzzle taking care with all the rest of the pieces. I look forward to your review of KI puzzles and I hope to see that my experience with "Hobbs and Topper" was a one-off and that these puzzles are great so I can buy some more!!
I started filming the review for these puzzles, and finally realized KI stood for Karmin International when I took a closer look at one of the boxes. I'm sure most can tell that I do not come in prepared with a script when I film these videos. I just sit down and ramble away my initial thoughts 🤣🤣🤣. But I'm really looking forward to putting these sets together. Thank you for sharing your experience! So far, like you said, I can tell the image is outstanding and there is very minimal dust. I'll be on the lookout and make note for print lifting!
I will live next door in the pink house. I am really interested in your review of the True South puzzle, they have a couple I really want but I am waiting for a sale.
@@thepuzzledmandy I see you are a kid at heart Mandy :-) Did u see the link I sent in one of your Shorts re the 3D Disney Castle I recently got? I can resend it here if you like, cos am sure you'd love it 🙂
Oh! I've done the Midnight in San Francisco. It was actually quite nice to work. Although I want to see you work the Blue Disney one, maybe you should do a couple quick, fun ones, lol. Take good care😊
@@thepuzzledmandy As I remember it was a comfortable challenge. No sitting and staring for a piece forever that might fit. I may still do another in the series ... I think there are three. I think it'll be a good fit for you ;)
Schimdt is definitely a brand I've been meaning to pick up for the longest, especially since they carry the Disney Thomas Kincaid sets. If they are on any Black Friday sales, then I hope to pick a couple up.
😮 interesting 🤔 what's your favorite puzzle . I love ❤️ kittens and dogs I love trees I'm doing a macaw 550 and also postcard 550 hotsprings japan my favorite. Is the 6 kitten one
I love you emails I was just surprised that you would take the time to read and respond to me. I'm thrilled. I am making good progress on world of Dracula. So fun. I watched your video again for ideas. You have such a wonderful personality.
@@LorettaBrewer-y8w World of Dracula was honestly one of my most favorite puzzles to work on, and the quality is superb which makes the whole experience that much more amazing. So happy to hear you're making good progress, unless you've already finished it by now! I want to work on the World of Frankenstein next, so it may be in my next Barnes & Noble haul when I finally make the trip out there.
I am going to say it. - I have held it in, kept it a secret, even harbored some angst in realizing and accepting the truth: I cannot stand a Thomas Kinade jigsaw puzzle! - I know, I know, in the puzzle community, I can just imagine the gasps and pearl-clutching going on. - I find Thomas Kinade jigsaw puzzles to be dreary, drab, dull -- dare I say boring. I would rather deal with a dark puzzle than a Thomas Kinade jigsaw puzzle -- those smeary images drive me crazy. Phew -- I got that out, and that does feel freeing - lol😊
Ok...this has to be one of my most favorite comments🤣🤣🤣 I hope you feel much better getting that out of your system, and I very much appreciate your honestly, which is something I always encourage. Lol, I feel attacked about the boxes. I do reuse them though to post out jigsaws I’ve sold. Those midnight in ones from KI are gorgeous. There are 4 in the series I think, including Paris and Prague. Btw, your trousers are awesome. 🧩 I did try to join the discord but it said the link didn’t work. I’ll try again.
I've reset the join link for Discord, so it should be good now! Let me know if you have any other issues. I've seen the Paris and Prague set, and they are so beautiful. Such a great use of colors! Cool puzzle haul Mandy. I have empty boxes flatten out in the garage. Tons of them 😂
🤣Gotta get rid of those flat boxes! I just got rid of some today, then found more in my closet 🤷♀️
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Every time you show a puzzle with a bakery, or coffee shop, i start to smell the treats and roasted beans flowing through the air
Oooh yes! Nothing better than bakery scents wafting through the air 🤤
Let's all pray that the Black Friday sales this year are great!
I hope they're great, but then again, I don't want them to be great. Mainly because I might go on a shopping frenzy when I shouldn't LOL.
