He is better off making food here than slaving away at some IT company for hours under a tyrant boss with little to no pay and getting fired anyway. These shops make more money than so many others. Stress-free life too. No pressure. The only issues for these stores would be 1) Mafia problems 2) Weather 3) Rise in price of butter/oil. We need basic education which is offered till 10th. After that all education is for sake of a company job. As such it doesn't matter he dropped out. He is set for life with this job. Alas I don't think it is hygienic. He is handling the raw onion with bare hands. Plus all this is exposed to vehicle pollution, flies and mosquitoes outside. Yes he has a basin of water where he washes his hands but still...maybe he could use a spoon for the onion mix. In a hotel they take care of hygiene a bit more. The water for the chutney too...is it filtered water or what?

This is not uthappam. It's a spin-off. Butter is never added to authentic uthappam in Tamil nadu.

@@mikoyan07 He isn't wrong though. We don't know what water he used for the chutney plus the food is exposed to outside pollution and flies. But it does look better compared to other street foods.
