Wow. It's so simple yet so mind-blowing for me. Can't wait to build my style dictionary. I've heard about style elements to use them as building outfit form inspiration but never thought to use them as sort of gatekeeping method on building perfect wardrobe.
I really loved this video Rita! Personal and unique approach to style is so important to me, and I like this approach of going inwards and getting in tune with your own definitions and what that actually means
I love, love this! I’m such an analytical/systematic thinker, so this really speaks to me ❤😊 plus I can also imagine getting a really pretty notebook to keep it all in lol.
If you have Google notes on your phone,it's amazing for making a style directory!! You can add a new label for your directory and then add a new note for each heading. You can also then add photos to each one. I wish I could share what I've started as it's sooo good
I love all of your videos and extremely actionable, practical advice. Today I was shopping at a consignment store and reflecting on how your videos (and Foundations Course and Sapphire audio course) helped gain a better understanding of my taste. Like today as I tried on clothes, I was able to easily discern in a short amount of time WHY I didn't like the pieces I disliked, and how the pieces I did like fit into my overall dream style.
I followed your word concept. I didn't relate to sensual comfy. But I did with romantic & edgy. I followed it though and nailed it. Add clear & bright colours with black. It's easier to go shopping now with my words as they ask what your looking for finding things much easier. Thank you❤
That was very helpful and insightful, thank you! I'm going to try it out! I have been trying to find a way to actually express my asthetic and this makes so much sense! My asthetic is 'Innocent girl in the woods who befriends monsters' Yeah, thats it😀
For years I was drawn to boho. But it’s not really me. Then I discovered the term elemental (LDRuby!) and I realized that what I love for me is organic raw elemental or 1920s style jewelry. Not clothes. Made a huge difference to clarify that.
You’re so good at breaking abstract ideas into digestible step. This seems so much less overwhelming and intimidating now.
