I’m from Thailand, watching Tokay as exotic pet give me a weird vibe. I love lizard but since I’m implanted in my mind as a kid for Tokay as pest or disgusting creature, that sensation still stuck with me. When I saw your video of them so chill and pet-like, it’s so weirdly fascinating. My usual experience with them is by hearing them every night and when I met one of them, it’s like when two scaredy cat meet. The Tokay either run away quick or too scare and drop down from the wall and run toward you, making both parties scream for its life. 🤣 They are great hunter too eating everything from insect, to rat, baby bird, and one time I even saw one eat a snake.
@@Reptiliatus I will soon be upgrading my adult bearded dragon from his 20 gallon breeder to a custom built 140 gallon bio active enclosure, ik it's not ideal to keep an adult beardy in a 20 gallon tank but I am on a budget and doing my best. Btw I love your videos and the love you have for your animals. Much love to you bro.
Welcome back everybody! Thanks so much for watching today's video! Hope you like Tiki's new setup as much as I do! Let me know what you think and don't forget to answer today's question of the day! *A lot of you have been asking me where I purchase the cork tiles I use to make my terrarium backgrounds. The reason I haven't replied to any of you is because the company and I are hoping to workout a sponsorship opportunity, therefore until that is agreed upon, I am unable to disclose that information. Thanks for your patience and understanding!
One fun thing you could work on with Tiki is more cooperative care. You're so close. What about teaching him to run into a plastic shoe box container for food? You could start really slow but eventually get to the point where he will stay in the box waiting for more mealworms to be delivered.
Your gecko is so lucky to have such a sweet and caring gecko parent like you! I love it when people go out of their way to make animals lives that much better!
Loved this new setup! Thanks for all the hard work you put into your videos and in maintaining your pets - all while educating your viewers. Your channel is one of my favorites for sure 💖🦎
I upgraded my two whites tree frogs to a new tank this week! They were ready for an adult tank, and a bigger water bowl, and they’re both settling in which makes me very happy. Its a bioactive so it took a while but it’s so worth it! I loved seeing your upgraded setup, cool to see other people making new homes for their pets.
This is an awesome video!!! REALLY appreciate this one. Yes I am going to upgrade my Cuban Knight Anoles terrarium and use het Skyscraper to house a rough green snake. Been held up on design ideas. This video gives me ideas so thank you!
Love the new enclosure! I'm sure tiki will enjoy the new space all for him. I'm also working on 2 upgrades for my geckos as well. 1 juveline crested being moved from a tub to an 18x18x24 exo terra and some mourning geckos going into a custom 18x12x12. Excited to get everyone in, your channel has inspired me to get a little more creative with the plants 😁
It seemed like he knew that something was going on and wasn't very cooperative. I'm glad you got him in safely. Hope he's doing awesome in his new enclosure. 🙂✌🏼
Cool build! Those guys are so cute. I loved the shot with three tails sticking out of the cork round. I'm working on a build for my Brazilian Rainbow Boa. It's been turning into more work than I thought! But getting closer. One idea I used in it, that you might like for yours: I had a vertical cork tube, and drilled a few holes, then stuck branches out of it more or less horizontally. So it's like a tree trunk with branches. It looks pretty good! And that gives an opportunity to perch and scope for prey on the ground. I have a garg and crested that like to do that.
I love this channel and who is mad when he is selling animals that he is breeding it is actually a good help for the hobby because he is good (really good ) in this hobby and he should sell this will help Canada i think becouse there aren’t so many people that you can trust

Almost done with my female crestie’s bio active (making a video on it and posting it soon) and I’m so happy with how it turned out. Thank you Reptiliatus for inspiring me to get into reptiles and into this hobby.
That looks great! I just upgraded my leopard gecko to bioactive and made a background with gorilla glue, coco coir/sand/moss mixture and cork bark ledges. I also did the same with a new enclosure for my baby red western hognose snake. She arrived a week ago and loves burrowing in the natural substrate. I do like the cork background, though.
Really enjoyable video. Love the tank hate (or rather dislike) the tanks decor it looks like a cork bin with a couple of office plants in it. I heard a lot of great things about the t5 arcadia uvb lights. Lights are something to be real careful with I set up a bioactive pac-man frog enclosure about four months ago and used a exo terra cfl 2% uvb, 13w, (i know cfl aren’t the greatest but it is an old terrarium with a fitting inside and perforated aluminium ventilation on the top so I didn’t have much choice) and I don’t know for sure because I don’t have uv measuring equipment, but I think that the light was actually mainly giving off uvb-c because my fern never grew and had two begonias die within a couple of weeks, so I first thought the problem was my plants so I replaced the second begonia with a monstera (a very hardy fast growing plant) and it started dying almost immediately with the leaves closest to the lamp turning brown first, so I figured it must be the light that’s killing my plants so I replaced the exo terra light with a megasun (a brand I only know for making tanning bed lights) cfl 2% uvb 13w and immediately noticed the difference in tint (the exo terra gave off yellowish light) and temperature (the exo terra got warmer) and after a couple of days the monstera’s leaves stopped dying and the healthy leaves started to turn towards the lamp. The monstera is now recovering and the fern is now spreading out and showing the damage the exo terra lamp caused to it so I will have to wait and see if there’s enough undamaged new growth for it to survive. I did plant a new begonia and it’s actually growing instead of withering away. Just be careful when buying lights, I trusted a brands reputation (all other exo terra stuff I got before is top notch and actually have to set up two exo terra tanks in the coming weeks, when I receive my repti soil and repti mesh I ordered) and it costed me a couple of plants and the cost for replacing a light early.
Those are nice. I never really thought they would live in family groups until a family moved into my house. They were wild ones, and had a habit of hiding behind my gunpla boxes. Sad story, I think the cats got most of them.
Looks awesome I’ve always seen people place branches to facing to the back like branches and things but i think it would look interesting if some branch pieces came towards the front the cage making it look more dynamic
