They didn't put the game together particularly fast; if anything, it has a lot more effort put into it than even HW1 did (and certainly more complete than SB). SteelWool has a habit of working on three to four projects at the same time, despite being a rather small company who doesn't truly have the manpower to do it, and it seems like they are learning from so many of their products being very buggy and visibly low-quality at times. HW1, while obviously nothing in terms of glitchiness compared to SB itself or even Ruin, did have its fair share of bugs, cut content, and things half-assed or cut entirely to fit into crunch time. The missing Withered designs, the low-quality crunchiness of the Funtimes, Toys and Phantoms/Springtrap, who are all very low in poly-count compared to other models in the game, and the bad AI and detection in certain levels, such as Funtime Freddy having a habit of getting stuck, many animations not lining up with the end poses despite others showing that it was their goal (take a look at Mangle's office-enter animation and then the mask animation, which actually lines up perfectly with one another; despite this many others such as Toy Freddy distinctly just don't line up in the same way and jerkily teleport right before you; and the other toys don't even have mask animations), and some models straight up missing details like Springtrap's guts just being cut entirely, or some of Ennard's wires. The modular nature of the game means that the larger cut content, other than the Withered designs due to FNaF 2's inclusion, were less noticable than in SB, but they were still cut and some of it does show. HW2 is looking to have far better model quality, possibly more polished gameplay though it's hard to tell, and overall just significantly more time to be finished.

i feel like this game is going to be basically just like the other one, but more minigames, less fnaf 1-4, more later games(5 and beyond), and hopefully less lore than the original. just sort of something new and fun for vr enjoyers and a easy way to introduce newer fans from sb/ruin into earlier games with other animatronics from pizza sim or sl

Also, did they get ScrapBaby's jumpscare from The Glitched Attraction? They look fairly similar.
It's not the same, her stance is quite different and in TGA she just kinda hits you with the open claw rather than feathering it first and then more slowly bringing it in to close it on you. It's more that it's kind of what her design favors for a jumpscare, as while her other hand is certainly deadly too the claw is the big unique thing. Well, that and the roller skates, which I do hope she visibly uses at some point, 'cause they're something we don't see on any of the others.
My tinfoil hat theory is that VR players canonically are the staff bots, and when we do those tasks, that's who we are. It is just disguised as a game since it's put with a bunch of other games (like whack-a-bonnie)
What would be sick is if there was a torture Freddy minigame where you have to try and get out a chair as it comes down.

I got to play HW2 at PAX west, I gotta say, It's really fun. I got to play the minigame with moon in a carousel that you repair as you keep him at bay.
I feel bad for the poor bastard who was playing the rockstar freddy maintenance game, the amount of shakes when he moved, they were SCARED

Yeah I don't see any way to actually 'break' this game unlike security breach since it's VR.
VR knowingly is harder to break due to lack of physics and actual structure, I mean your hands are basically a built in noclip. You can hack the game but that's basically it.
With the whole PlayStation thing, a major reason for why it's more advertised, is because the new ps vr helmet has haptic shaking in the helmet itself, which is used in the game, I think they said it was mostly in the jumpscares or something.

This is releasing in the holiday block, so this is either going to be incredibly rushed or far more polished than Steel Wool's usual offering.
One of the things I noticed is apparently there's a sister location private room/custom night mode.
Helpy has gone insane from Helping 24/7. Pizza sim, Ruin, etc.. lol (I'm also disappointed that this won't be on Oculus. I am looking forward to this release)
