Edvin (Wille) also said he hated the shushing scene but confirmed that the shushing is how Wille himself has been always treated by his mother, it's learned behaviour because as a royal you are supposed to always keep up appearances, people shouldn't know that you are fighting. And I feel like the bigger the pressure is on Wille to soon have to take over part of his mother's obligations, the more crippling his anxiety becomes and the more he reverts to what he's learnt from his mother.
Simon's and Sara's dad is a recovering alcoholic and drug addict. Looks like he tried to get away from the alcohol and drugs many times but ended up letting his family down over and over again. Sara didn't want anything to do with him until now, because she sees him as a lier and doesn't trust him. Simon is more open to giving second chances, but he doesn't really trust his dad either. They feel like he never prioritized them or really supported their mom. (Their dad is Swedish, their mom is from Latin America)
