Studio arrangements on TOTP at this time meant both acts and audience had to share a tight space, given the dispute with the BBC orchestra. Still, everyone made the best of it.
Excellent to see a flashback of the chart 45 years ago. Weird seing Annie Lennox in her old group. You knew she was going to be a star with that charisma. Slick's title is a bit... questionable. What I like is, quite a lot of diversity. Rock, disco, country, reggae and pop. Many classics here 👍 I like a lot of the songs here, but my favourites are Queen (my #1), ABBA, Michael Jackson, Blondie, Dr Hook, Buggles, Van Morrison, The Specials, Babs and Donna Summer duet , Siouxie and the Banshees and the reggae hits and many more. Thank you 👍
francis pelletier, I liked!

Thanks For Sharing!
They say it was the disco era...
Nothing like that!
It can be seen that this is the era of punk rock for the English.
Best ever was Tubeway Army, changed everything…
So many mixed genres back then. I remembered nearly all them. Great memories thank you
Good start on a Saturday!!!!
