I have started my little collection of polishes & tools, I’ve watched all your 101s & more, practice nearly everyday. Love your channel, I’m so excited about this new hobby.
That’s me as well! At 54, I never really spent any time on my nails until recently. I’ve started a collection of indy polishes and tools. I love the colors you get with the smaller companies. The big drugstore polishes have never gotten me excited. Your 101s have been SO helpful! I change it up a few times a week and the practice has really helped as well.
I have always done my toes in crazy colors, so I had a small collection, then i had a storage fire in between moving. So at 47, I had to start over! I have been watching Kelli and Cristine and now I have stamping plates, holo, cuticle oil, dotting tools, and brushes lol.
I picked up the polish bug just this year at 47 because I wanted to paint my truck green glitter and realized I needed to practice first with tiny, portable canvasses. All the same principles apply from nails to painting metal except for temperature and wind. I'm super hooked now and test everything in dirt and water for longevity and sparkle. Kelli does a great job and makes me comfortable to learn. Bros with spray guns do not. Now that I'm renovating a storage container, I'm designing it to incorporate elements of nail art in the design. I love this hobby because it makes me sit down, drop the blood pressure and be creative. Thank you again, Kelli.
I wasn't even born in the 90s but in 2006 and I also had these when I was younger but kids now don't really often have these anymore and it's only like 14 years later it's a pitty
Just an extra little tip, I usually dip the point of a toothpick or orange stick in a little bit of Elmer's glue or hot glue & let it dry. It makes it just a little bit tacky so I can pick the glitters up easily but they also come off easily when placed on my nail. And Wildflowers nails has TONS of solvent proof glitters you can buy. Just make sure you have some extra spending cash before you look at their website!🤣

Very nice tradition to buy a nail polish everyday you go out to a party! I like doing glitter placements with glitter polishes, but I haven't done a design like that in YEARS so it is about time to try it again🥰
Yes the first one so looked like outer space and I love it. Just a little tip you can put topcoat over rhinestones but not over Swarovski. If you put it over Swarovski you will loose the looks from the cut of the stone. I lived all the looks you do. Ty for this one especially

This video inspired me to do some glitter nail art for the first time! I used wet n wild Fergie A009 Hollywood walk of fame that I bought forever ago and never thought to actually place the star glitter on my nails. I love stars I’m so happy with the way it turned out! This was a great video!

When I apply charms, stones, or studs, I usually use brush on nail glue. Speaking of that, it's been a while since I done that. I have a lot of those and some 3d nail decals. Most of these I bought at Sally's Beauty Supply. I even bought neon studs at Walgreens 6 or 7 yrs, ago when they had Christmas stocking stuffers.
Omg I recently started liking nail polish and nail art too, and my mum says the same thing, "why do you need so many nail polishes" love your videos! 😁 I subscribed!

So, in another video when you talked about your friend and you going out and buying the polish, you said that the first one was Sinful Colors Nail Junkie and a week or so ago I found a really old little bag of mine and when I opened it, I found a bottle of nail polish. It was separated cause it is old, but I was like that is beautiful!!! I looked and it was Nail Junkie!!! Also, I was hesitant to get the little birthday charms and now I think I will haha
I'm not the biggest fan of big glitters on my nails because I prefer smooth nails, but I do enjoy using a big glitter or gem as an accent to nail art!!

I would do these but my gosh am I lazy for it lol I am a bit more into nail art than I was before but glitter placement is still a long way down the line for me 😂 maybe once when I am pregnant and bored at home or sth xD

Haha I think it's really best for when you sit down to do some nail art but don't feel like freehanding, it's super tedious but totally worth it!!
