The freshmen interview. 😂 Definitely a freshman.
Its good to have good skill position players but even on HS levels it's simple biology and physics. The team up front with better offensive and defensive line will dominate as the game goes on. This game was 35 to 14 before Heritage started getting the younger guys reps. Nelson has a great release that's tightly packed 👌 but in my eyes the QB on Heritage was just as good if not better.

When the talent gap is equally true things are alot different. This isn't a knock on Nelson I like him I can see he got nice spin on his throws I just hope he isn't overhyped playing against lesser talents

Throwing ability is outstanding, pretty decent pocket awareness, good broken play ability & you see him actually scan the field. He'll be fine

Los Al is still really good but has a ways to go to match Corona Centennial. I read somewhere Los Al wanted to model themselves after Cen10 because they're both public schools. But the thing about Cen10 is Matt Logan has designed and engineered a really good system after decades of experience. Matt Logan can take average players into their system and become highly competitive with the best teams in the nation. Whereas Los Al seems to need 5 Star studs to out talent their competition. There's Reason why the the Trinity league schools call Logan a "Wizard".
I hope Corona Centennial, or just any CA public school, can finally win a National Championship or just finish the season ranked number 1 in the nation someday, i'm kind of upset and bitter that hasn't happend in my lifetime yet, last time a CA public school achieved that in HS football, the internet didn't exist yet.

Rollinson is on the same boat at MD. Logan may never get a chance, but your nightmare of Rollo continuing at the helm would continue.
@@marcvslicinivscrassvs7536 I played and started at cen10 a couple years ago and I can tell you first hand he isn’t leaving. He signed a contract to coach for 10 more years at the school. He also started his coaching career under rollo at mater dei as a running back coach and then moved over to cen10 so I don’t know why he would want to go back especially with all the recent controversy they have had with hazing and everything. I can tell you first hand Logan would make us run till we can’t breathe if he found out his players were hazing or beating each other up. That man will always have my respect and i can assure you all former cen10 players feel the same.

The coaches don't take these players out of other schools ! We need to understand what recruit means.
But people also have choices ! As long they get a good Education that prepare us for college level or any certified training career
Los AL just strengthen their program that all and that's a Public school that plays against Private schools.
Example their are Private or Public schools vice versa might don't have a good football program that don't mean they want become a good power in football program. They might have better education, right discipline or other sports that they are good in.

Los Al looks like they are becoming a little relevant again, like how they were in the 90s and early 2000's decade, it reminds me, even though he retired in 2015, their former longtime HC John Barnes, his last decade as the HC was a disaster, a sour one, Los Al only won a single playoff game in his final decade, before that, they were regularly D-1 CIF title contenders and made deep playoff runs.
I hope a CA Public School can win a Natty or MNC in HS football someday, tired of seeing private/parochial schools being spoiled too much
Cen10 is our only hope for a CA public to win it all. They have a tough road though because most of the time they have to beat both MD and SJB in the Pac5. Then knock off DLS. And hope Gorman isn't up and humming.

Hard to say "real deal" after this performance. Short timing routes were not accurate. He underthrew the long ball all night by 5-6 yards and certainly didn't look like a NUMBER ONE OVERALL RECRUIT. lets be real. No pressure in 7on7 games.
