    For any enzyme catalyzed reaction ES complex formation represents --
    (a) Transient, stable structure
    (b) Transient, unstable structure
    (c) Permanent , unstable structure
    (d) none of these
    Pls explain this ans is a or b

      Option b because in this ES transition state , it is highly unstable. So substrate bond are broken down easily and new bond establish that transform the substrate molecules into product at short time(transient).

    Sir thanks for your wonderful reading I have one doubt . 1. the glucose-6- phosphate when it decrease or increase it will inactive the Hexokinase when the glucose -6- posphate binds .

    Sir one doubt .. actually the substrate has to overcome the potential energy barrier for the product formation so the energy required for a substrate to break the barrier is activation energy ryt .....then if enzyme reduces activation energy how will the substrate react faster as the potential energy barrier is there

      Activation energy is used to change substrate into product without enzyme needs lot amt of energy
      If the enzyme is present there is no need or lowering of activation energy because enzymes do that wrk

    Sir I have a doubt.why does the required activation energy decreases for a substrate with enzyme than the substrate without enzyme?

      If enzyme is present in the substrate then enzyme makes the work easier so it doesn't need that much energy to get the product so the activation energy of substrate without enzyme is high than substrate with enzyme

      Km value is the conc of substrate obtained when the velocity of rxn reaches half of its maximum value. Km value low na substrate um enzyme um nalla bonding la iruku nu meaning. Apdi ilana naraya enzyme thevai padum.. Adha meaning.
