"Bad Valentine" is the rawest and most amazing song I've ever heard. We know that Angelina is a super mega vocalist, but this was so good and powerful that it can't actually be described in words.

What a great performance by Angelina! This was really good, but Bad Valentine was even better! Cannot wait for people to hear that song and be totally blown away by it. This is a nice collab with Toby and hopefully there will be more future collabs in the near future!
Angelina and Toby seem to have a very good chemistry on stage so we can definitely hope they will make a lot of songs together. What Angelina really needs to make a big breakthrough is cooperation with a world class song writer. She already has the voice to become a superstar.
She has cooperated with quite a few great song writers, but it seems to me Toby has that little extra. He's also writing songs that suit Angelina's voice very well.
I keep my fingers crossed that "Bad Valentine" will become a big success. That will inspire Angelina and Toby to keep writing songs together for a long time.

Ole are these official lyrics from Toby, or just your take on what you hear? because some parts sound a lot different to me than what you have here. For example I hear "mess up your head" not "mess up girl"

@@BigAngieFan808 No. Not official but I think it is very closeI certainly open to corrections if you can get a consencus I did a pretty detailed listen playing it over and over and I think it was accurate to My listening but open to correction.
I gave it a carefull listen Made some changes and got it as close as I could. If you listen along I think it fits perfectly. I did have a question about the to show the code? in my words... maybe cold vs code... 😊♥👣 Listened again and I think it is cold not code.

The soundtrack on this appearance at the Cafe Hotel is so much better than the version from the London Palladium, just phenomenal.
London Palladium was cell phone audio; this one from Jesse and Friends is directly off the audio mixing equipment.
That was the best shot and edited video of AJ I've seen, great quality. Even better than the Norwegian TV Nobel Prize show. Her performance was breathtaking. A few hours after watching this though something struck me: The shoes, what up with that? Let's put it down to excitement.
I think the shoes come off for more "Official" events, not the Little ones. Just my general thought based on observations.

I can see this song being labeled a Toby Gad release featuring Angelina as guest vocalist as it is from his project. However I’m hoping that Bad Valentine is released as an Angelina song, just like her other originals.

But, as an old coffin-dodger, I found that the audio was just okay: it was a feast for the ears, of course, but, for me, the volume was too anemic to give me the full body shot. Luckily, I have Volume Master, the Google extension, which gave me what I need. A 350% boost perfectly enhanced your excellent video and really showcased Angelina's extraordinary vocals.....James, I'm sure most of us would agree that the effort, time and dedication which you devote to all things Angelina is admirable and impressive. It is first-rate and greatly appreciated.

I think the Barefoot requirement (among potentially others) is that the appearance be an Angelina FEATURE, not just Featuring Angelina. If Angelina is not the Primary draw, then "off-with-the-shoes" does not really apply. 😇Jim
@@summaEngineer Well if you are going to get technical. Look Angelina need never perform barefoot again and it wouldn't change the fact that she is one of the most talented, humble, generous human beings that I have had the good fortune to discover in my life !!!
This performance may become a trivia question: When was the only time AJ did not perform barefoot live in front of an audience? The only other video where she wasn't barefoot was a rehearsal of Fly Me To The Moon for her opening Quincy's 85th birthday celebration at the O2 Arena in London when she was 12.

So, she has broken her promise to always sing barefoot for the children who don't have shoes or would it be safe to say all children now have shoes - so AJ can now wear footwear when performing... This was not an Angelina Jordan concert, her appearance was a surprise, she was dressed in street clothes, maybe there were house rules, no way do i see this as some kind of betrayal of a promise.

Cafe , barefoot may not be allowed for hygiene reasons .the performance area so small with plugs and cables , not a good idea to perform barefoot .
This is the first time I've seen her break her promise to always sing barefoot on stage, and it saddens me. It was one of the characteristics that made her unique and dear to me. This promise was probably untenable in the long run. Showbizz is showbizz. To break through, you have to fit in, and maybe she decided that was the way to go.
This is a small cafe so probably barefoot not allowed for hygiene reasons . also this is a toby gad event not angelinas and the performance area is very small with plugs and cables so safety reasons ?
@@tomwhite4736 On further reflection, after the initial discomfort, I think you're right. First of all, she's not in total control of the situation. She's a guest. I also agree with you that in such a confined space, with all those wires around, there is a question of safety. I remember a young French singer, Barbara Weldens, who performed barefoot and died after her feet came into contact with a defective piece of electrical equipment.

Angelina has performed barefoot in front of royalty , heads of state and ex presidents . there's probably a very good reason why she didn't at the cafe .it could be any one of those reasons described .👍

Plus, good concept for a song but quite uninteresting. It won't get anywhere unless the mystic of a 'name' in the industry will motivate plays and sales.
