    Great to see, although you could see how Felix was giving it 100% and falling over at the end, while Jay barely looked warmed up :) Good to see Jay again, hope he can make into the full ATP events - if Liam Broady can do it then so can Jay Clarke!

    Great to see the big improvement from Felix. Feel sorry for Clarke though, was only a couple of years ago that he was winning a challenger tournament in Mexico.

    Felix has definitely improved since I watched him last. And Jay has pushed me to get the Head Extreme Pro. Have been eyeing that racquet of late.

    I remember Jay from the ITF juniors...he had no real weapons but his tennis IQ and athleticism were impressive.

      Not taking away from Felix as he’s a decent player but come on man, surely you can see Jay wasn’t even trying 😂 in a proper match, doubt Felix wins more than 3 games in a best of 3 setter, he can’t even make it through ITF qualifying whereas Jay’s top 300

    Honestly, 10 points tiebreak is not a good indication of ones ability.
    My 15 years old sons regularly beats boys who are in their 20s with 13 UTR but looses to them 6-3, or 6-4 when they play a set.

    Felix you are playing right in the baseline and are almost late for every ball… this is your issue - look when you are ralleying out of the hand vs in points… yes points are fast with serves, etc but sit back at least 1/2 - 1m more, get back after your serve asap and once in the point get back a meter behind, your movement is great and if you have more time you will be able to load up more and play a more comfortable game, you rush yourself wayyyyy toooo much!!!

  • @wassellvlog
    @wassellvlog Месяц назад

    I don't think this says anything about your level. you're a great player and you obviously can look at yourself and figure out what you need to do. just seems you forget how good you actually are until its too late in your matches.

  • @JAM-fm8lt
    @JAM-fm8lt Месяц назад +1

    Like he said, get out of the futures asap.
    Most good players will move up to challengers very quickly , usually within 12 months to 2 years max. Krue Sell is a perfect example.
    Most playing future in their late twenties are really just making up numbers and wasting their times.
