    Thank you very much for this video. My mother had an operation between the 2nd and 3rd toes due to morton neuroma. But after 6 months her pain started again. The doctor diagnosed "neuropathy". She was unable to sleep at night. He cries most of the time. I wanted to try what I saw in the video. I bought tape from the internet and I was using it for my own knee problem. I taped it on my mother's foot the way I saw it on the video. She told me that her pain was reduced. She even slept without a hole. Thank you very much, we pray for you, forever🙏

    This is the best taping method I have found. It truly works for me. I have neuromas in both my feet, so I tape both. The only negative for me is the appearance, which can be difficult to disguise while wearing dressier shoes. I overcome this by wearing tights or socks OR I actually cut the tape coming through each toe shorter for the occasion so they don't show. Using flesh colored tape is also good for this reason. The second best thing to do in addition to taping and is just as important - wear the right shoes for the problem. I find that wearing arch support and wider toe box shoes is so important to work with the taping. Otherwise, the shoes work against what you're trying to accomplish - no pain and no further damage. I hope this helps anyone who suffers with such a miserable condition. I have recently begun to wear SalonPas patches on the top and bottom of my forefeet at night with socks and it has eliminated waking up with foot pain. Yes, they smell but I wash my feet in the morning before taping. Whatever works! 😁

      Works for me too. I've noticed the difference right away. The nagging radiating pain is relieved tho you can still feel it there, the annoying pain is gone how ever

      Mine has not gone away. I do have some days with less pain than others, and I can't determine why exactly. A foot doctor said I will eventually need surgery, however I am determined to avoid it at all cost. I've seen too many friends suffer as much or more after surgery as before.

    How long does the tape stay on for before it needs to be reapplied? Assuming it doesn’t peel off from the shower or whatever

    Thank you so much. This makes more sense to me than several other ways I've seen it done.
    I've been dealing with this problem for years. At one point my toes swole up & turned purple. So incredibly painful. They looked like blood sausages....🤮 This has also affected my hips, knees, ankles because I am always overcompensating for the pain I'm feeling, as well as callouses in very uncomfortable areas, just making everything worse. Top that off with flat feet and I've felt like I was doomed to suffer for at least another 50 years. This gives me hope.
    Tries a few other methods today using KT tape, but will be trying this method out next. Have been using orthotic insoles for around 3 years now. Have only found 1 type which work for me, so I order them in bulk LOL
    Can't wait to get some huge rolls of tape & continue working on this. Thank you again!

    No sound or explanation. No description of lengths, tension, biomechanical alteration, proposed mechanism of therapy or expected results. In other words, no help at all. Maybe the audio is broken.

      You're welcome.....how about get some tape & try it out on your own foot before making a flat out judgement on that? Then maybe you could take the time to make your own video to help people.

    Hi Georgi
    What stretch do you put on the tape - the ones going through the toes and the one across the ball of the foot?

  • @seeamerica1
    @seeamerica1 6 лет назад +10

    I see what this is doing, it's separating the toes to take the pressure off the neuroma. What kind of doctor knows about this? Please don't say a podiatrist because I've been to 3 of them already, two of them didn't know what taping was + one wouldn't do it saying it doesn't work.

      Dustin Mowcomber it puts the toes in correct position giving space for the neuroma do de-flame while maintaining the foot locked in a position so the metatarsals dont move so much

    28/01/2020. It does work believe me, helps heaps. Buy also wide shoes around the toes. And massage, and a bit of anti inflammatory cream. Podiatrist socks up your cash, went to see one $150 and tries to sell me shoes at $200. Thief.

      Your foot will be far more painful after the surgery, and you will regret it. The feet have so many nerves that surgery is the worst alternative possible.
