This man gives hope for us none prodigies. He started at 15 and being impressed by everyone and just getting there from working hard af. This band is my favourite after a decade of listening to metal because they are the truest musicians around who keep trying to push their limits and innovate their sound, I love this band.
It would be interesting to see what level his friends are at now.

I've had a guitar for about 3 weeks now, and I finally learned how to play Happy Birthday and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. I guess I have to start somewhere.
My 1st song was "Ode To Joy" i remember practicing it over and over and over but when id play a measure without screwing up it made me feel like the greatest guitarist ever. Wasnt long after that i started bringing in Nirvana/Metallica CD's to my teacher so he could teach me my fav Riffs. I was blown away that he could listen to something for a few seconds and then play it. Thats when i was 15 so we still used CD's at the time. Now i struggle by trying to be a Stevie Ray Vaughan Clone. His version of "Marry Had A Little Lamb" you should check out!

You should try spider run exercises with different finger permutations (4! = 24 different possible finger permutations). That really helped me in the beginning to develop finger independence.

Kennebec, it's a good all-purpose potato, however it does struggle with high power output. Should have tried deep fried for that crispy top end.

Along with all the other members, Bill is part of what makes Mastodon addictive to listen to. They all feed each others creativity to an inhuman level, it's perfect. Just wish the audio was better, but can't complain about some good perspective from a legend

Oblivion is by far my favorite song to play by you guys!! I love the intro that you never go back to in the song leading into that chunky riff!!
