    Nice to see your review. My wife and I are a couple of people who assemble G5 broadheads (at work and in our livingroom/ I also build Prime bows). Keep it up and good hunting👍🏼

    I finally switch from the rage to G5 after 5 years bow hunting. They are awesome. I wish i switch up quicker but better now than neva. All the hype was worth it. The rage collar seem not to hold the blade tight and its rattle alot causing possible pre deployment. But g5 collar has tighter tolerance

    Love these Broadheads. Be aware on putting them in your quiver. If you push them too far in you can actually partially deploy a blade. I had this happen and the arrow sounded like a bottle rocket as it flew over the back of a nice 8 PT. Just dbl check. It’s user error not the broadhead.

    • @TechnicallyOutdoors715
      @TechnicallyOutdoors715  10 дней назад

      I had that happen to me while I was pulling arrow to shoot a doe! Lesson learned and never happened again.

    These are the best broadheads for me… I’m not changing anything till I have something bad happen. But it’s been three or four years now with many deer down. Most of the time leaving a blood trail all the way to a dead body of the animal.

    Just shot a solid 8 with a g5 dead meat, 64 lb rx7, Easton sonic 340, 50 grain brace insert, nocturnals paired with the dead meat is devastating. 283 fps, believe arrow weight is 408. Seems to be working great. Thanks for the review

    Great video... Great info... Used a NAP Spitfire Edge mechanical on a doe at 18 yards, bow weight was 60ish... Arrow over 400 grains... 27 inch draw... Had a complete pass through... I personally do like mechanical broadheads...

    I have always wanted to shoot these and literally the only thing stopping me was people saying the blades break easy. Now you haven’t had that issue with them and I can live with bending blades. Might need to give them a shot. I’m also curious about the new 2 blade g5 is coming out with called the T2 . Good review as well !!

      Put the red clips on them they are stiffer made for crossbows but work just fine. Also look into tight spot quivers you can adjust the quiver ( arrow notch/lock point) with Allen. Makes it super nice so u don’t have to burry ur broad head into foam etc. I traced my quiver, cut a piece of yoga mat to get and inserted it into the tight spot quiver. Few drops of hot melt glue and boom super silent and solves board head chatter and adds next to no weight to the quiver.

    cut-on-contact is having a blade at the tip. this is a bone-crushing tip.

    • @TechnicallyOutdoors715
      @TechnicallyOutdoors715  11 месяцев назад

      It definitely does that but with that tip being beveled it is physically a cut on contact!
