    Wholly hell.Well done mate.That ole girl looks fantastic,I am currently rebuilding the same bike as a trail bike for my wife,I saved it from the dump so got it for free.It wont be up to the mint standard you built yours though

    Ωραίο project!!! Μπράβο! Χρειάζεται πολύ μεράκι για τέτοιο αποτέλεσμα.
    Η αρχική μορφή του μοιάζει εκπληκτικά με το DT 125 LC που είχα αγοράσει τον Νοέμβριο του 1982. (Φυσικά, με τους γνήσιους τροχούς & ολόκληρο το μπροστινό σύστημα και όχι αυτά από ΧΤ της φωτογραφίας) Το άσπρο πλαστικό προστατευτικό του ψυγείου είχε αλλαχτεί μετά από πτώση με μαύρο που μόνο διέθετε η τότε αντιπροσωπεία της Yamaha ‘Ηλιόπουλος’
    Πουλήθηκε το 1984 σε έναν φίλο από την Κύπρο, ο οποίος νωρίτερα είχε αγοράσει και την πρώτη μου μηχανή, ένα Ιταλικό TGM 50 R 80.

      Ευχαριστώ πολύ φίλε, το μπροστινό στη φωτογραφία είναι από DT 200 37f και όχι xt. Τώρα το έχω αλλάξει ξανά και έχω από DT 200 3ET.

    What the system called you used to extend the cut pieces from the swingarm?

      The cut pieces for the swingarm are custom made by myself it's shown shortly in video. The rear suspension is indeed stock. Thank you very much for your kind words!

    i have a 1982 dt 125 l project does anyone no if the 82 engine still has a power valve or not?

    die Bremssättel sind von DT (CODE 3ET) und ich habe eine änderung-mod gemacht.Ich habe die base der Bremssättel etwas geschnitten damit sie in den swinging arm passt...Die felge sind von KTM 620 und das zentrum fur den hintenrad ist yamaha (code 3ET) und fur das Vorderrad ist yamaha (CODE 37 F) Ich hoffe du verstehst was ich meine......

      I got them from another used motorcycle, they are Akron Duke 620 1997'.

      You can look it up on Ebay and perhaps on your local yamaha representative.I have a spare one but the shipping fees from Greece to Finland will be too much.Personaly I have found many brand new parts on Yamaha Holland.

    What are your motorcycle rims?

      All the parts used are in the description, the rims are AKRONT KTM DUKE 620 1997' mate.

    What paint did you use on the engine case?

      Thank you very much. The type of the paint is called basis(because it acts as a base), its a special type of paint that dries really fast. My local painter had to mix it himself. You could ask your local one if they can come up with something similar!

    Respect, i´m rebuilding my dt 125 lc 1982 while it´s winter now and i´d like to change the brake system from drums to disc brakes. And if I already change the brake systems i´d like to convert mine to a supermoto too. But I have one question, do i have to extend the swingarm like you did? When i don´t need to extend it, why did you do it? Your Dt is really beautiful. You can be proud of it.

      Stahloxid 1751 Thanks man,good luck on your rebuild to. The reason I extended it by 4cm is due to the fact that the bike got from 16hp to 32hp so first it wouldnt lift on the rear wheel and also to be stable while riding on high speeds.

      kostas6460 Thanks for your answer, I wasn't really sure if it works without modifying the swingarm like this. Now I have to get some parts and move on😀. Instead of the telescopic shock absorber from the dt 200, I'll take the parts from a dt 80 lc2.

    i am planning to convert my 1982 yamaha dt to supermoto, i was thinking that long time ago and when i saw this video i have to do it :D i just might use usd front end.

      Not true, that swingarm was only used in mk1 LC model
