Useful video - thank you. I found it was the same procedure on a Nissan Qashqai 1.5 DCI Acenta 2009 cabin pollen filter UK right hand drive.
I believe it had never been changed and was extremely dirty/clogged.
Couple of points - after you have taken out the glove box and then remove the plastic vent - it has a screw on the left we can see you undo - but on the right had side there is a little clip on the top where it secures to the central vent - it can ping off so keep an eye out for it. Also take your time putting the new filter in place - mine took a lot more jiggling before it went in. No smutty comments.
Have just done mine, 2010 1.6 petrol. No need to remove glove box, air duct or wire, its accessible by simply removing the side panel and reaching in. 5 min job costs £7. Easy.

Very good but any chance someone could do a video for the post 2014 Qashqai? As far as I can tell it’s all quite similar to access the filter, with partial glovebox dismantling needed on the RHD car, but the filter has to be rotated 90 degrees so the long side is vertical and the hard plastic edges are horizontal. In this orientation it’s even harder to squeeze the filer to get it through the hole.
I tried it the way round shown in this video but it rattles around and does not fill the space.

The right way is not to remove the glove box
No need to dismantle half the car just remove the cover at bottom and then bottom half of glove box
Is this showing a J10 Qashqai?Is it same on J11 too?

John, my a/c not working.
The mechanic told me i have to change evaporator unit and expansion valve.
I change my pollen filter by my own. I wonder, is my a/c unit broked because of me putting the pollen filter wrong way?
Does the A/C has anything to do with the pollen filter ?
It needs A/C topping up. You can get a refill in Halfords.
You need to top up aircon gas get it in halfords
Can't you access the filter without removing the glovebox? Is it necessary to be removed?

You can , all you need to do is remove the inner cover next to the feet of you are seated, pull out the tiny pipe that visible once you remove the cover ,open the aircon filter housing cover n you are good to go, follow the link in my other reply

You can just pop the side cover off, no need to dismantle the glove box
