Really nice and neat work. i loved your videos.
Thank you!
As always, the video is cool as usual...👌
You had a request that if possible, make part two of this video, teach how to color in diffrent colour and tighten the studs.
I've seen it in golden color. Now show the second color in the compatibility.
Sure, although I wouldn't be firing this piece for a while. So that may take some time but I will keep your suggestion in mind and make that video too.
@@nehagopinathpillai Thank you🙂

@@nehagopinathpillai Tq for your kindly reply mom. Thanks a lot I veitting for this painting video mom🙂
Thanks for again new design ....plz make a video of peacock
Sure!
Wow super always. Mam make a vdo of peacock, ganesha. nd i made a small budha face stud help of mould but i can't understand how i colour it .please ans me🙏👍👌👌
If you are looking at an antique finish you could try painting the stud black then using antique gold (undiluted paint) lightly dab it on the stud using your index finger or thumb to highlight the features.
Post how to make peacock and ganesha
Will do.
I am waiting for your video mam
😊
Awesome❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Can you also show me how you stick the stud?
Sure, that's done only post firing and painting or glazing. Back in India I used an industrial adhesive called Araldite.
@@nehagopinathpillai when I do the glue e600 comes out n I don't like it's finishing...when I think to apply little then I get weird thoughts what if it comes out then😕
Also glue should be done after painting clay pc or before?
@@tamlalwani I use the E6000. Find it pretty strong, as good or probably a little better than Araldite actually. I leave it to dry for almost 2 full days. Probably an extra day to get rid of any smell of there is any. And yes, I prefer doing the sticking part after the painting has been done.
@@nehagopinathpillai ok thanks for the tip, next time I will put a little after painting them. Just for your knowledge I have a fb n Insta page by name Tamanna's Art House, I work as per demand, since quite a long time haven't worked with a clay, but soon will start.

@@tamlalwani thank you for sharing the details of your page. Will look it up right away. :)
Pretty one💜 mam,🙂 usually for cut design works after how many hours do you start to do the cut work on the clay slab?
Thank you so much!
Depends, warmer weather I just leave it for 30-45 mins. Maybe even lesser. Can go beyond that too but better to keep a check so that it doesn't get too hard to work on.
@@nehagopinathpillai yeah sure mam🙂
Your works are very nice...i am live in kerala.so how can i buy the clay .can you please help me to buy the clay from online..give me any information about it...plzzz....
You can look up Clay Station in Bangalore or Clay Joy in Bangalore. Both these studios sell clay suitable for terracotta jewellery.
I use the acrylic colour to paint my jewellry and it generally tends to come out after a while ,and so i end up repainting it.
Also please suggest as to how to give the finishing touch while painting .
A couple of things : dilute paint when necessary. Thick paint tends to peel. Some of them use varnish (I don't) to finish off their pieces. I seem to find fevicryl hobby ideas acrylic paints works better on terracotta. The ones with the white cap, not the fluorescent ones. The ones with the fluorescent caps are soft colors and I don't think they work well. Good luck!
@@nehagopinathpillai
Also please suggest the kind of thread to use for the neckpieces.
The ones which make the jewellery a little more attractive.
Thank you
@@nehaniharika2079 I use several materials. Nylon cord, Doris, gear wire etc. It's a personal choice I would say.
@@nehagopinathpillai Thank You .

@@teddybear8454 I am sorry, but I don't use air dry clay so I won't be able to comment on that.
Where did you buy the clay
I live in US. Picked up the clay from a studio close by. Like I said earlier too, source clay locally.
In US where did you buy the clay
Belger arts in Kansas.
Thank u mam... I am in newyork i dont know where to buy the clay..
Somewhat i do terracotta jewelry i just stop doing it after came to US.. Your video is tempting me to do that again... I like all your videos.. U r inspiring me to do these jewelry again... Thank u soo much..
@@swathiappasamy7351 sure, you can always do it to refine your skills. You may want to look up pottery or ceramic studios near you. Check if they have low - fire earthen ware clay. Usually the studios offer kiln firing services at nominal costs. As it's low fire the ideal temperature at which your pieces need to be fired is between cone 04 and cone 06.
Thank u mam
Pls paint and post it
