Hi... U r video s very nice very useful... Each step is very clearly u showing thanks so much.. I need to gear wire and nichrome wire s different or same.. can we use gear wire for u pin
Most welcome 😊 Glad you find it useful. And no, you can't interchange or use one in place of another. Nichrome is a high temp wire that won't melt in the kiln. Gear wire is something you use only for assembling pieces once the jewellery is fired & painted.
Thank u so much for u r reply. Sis... And also plz tell me its necessary to heat in charcoal after making jwellery parts and y we need plz tell me so that it will vey helpl me to go furthur
@@agilandeshwarikumaresan1211 I don't follow that method of firing. I just take my pieces to a pottery studio nearby and get it fired in an electric kiln.
Hi, I have a doubt....if one part is dried and other is wet. While drying the other piece, with the already dried piece get effected...will the pins colour get changed...pls reply
Absolutely not! nothing will change. it will infact make the process easier to put the pieces together. if you are working on a two level stud jhumka - I would suggest you first make the stud with the u-pin inside(very important). Let it dry for a few hours till it firms up and then make the jhumka part and attach the stud part right away. Nichrome pins have a little color alteration only after its fired.
Hai , I am Vidhu.... thank you for replying me. I have decided to make terracotta jewellery sets..I am absolutely a beginner..I am watching your vedios one by one...could you give me a contact number or mailID or some other platform so that I can clarify each doubt with you....As it is lockdown Iam unable to get the materials. Is it possible to get an alternative for clay from home so that I could practice.
I have uploaded videos on several bead designs on my channel. A little unclear on the question, but I use a refill. These days you get a hole maker in stores/online. Try a toothpick. Hope I answered your question.

@@rekhasadvik3845 - the thickness for pendants is 0.6 cms - I have never done it at home, i have always taken my pieces to a pottery studio close by and got it fired in an electric kiln there. How to know correct water consistency of clay?
It shouldn't be sticky.
At what cone are the pieces fired and do you ever glaze them instead of paint?

Look for Clay Joy or Clay Station. Both are pottery studios in Bangalore.
In my village, pottery makers r there,r we use dat clay for making jwels?pls reply
Bcoz i really inspired ur work,so i want to try.
Sure, absolutely. The key is for jewellery making is that the clay should be fine. You could certainly give it a shot with the clay you have.
