I hope you really enjoy this video. This is one of my hearts and desires to bring you good recipes tried in true that I have used all my life and I’m willing to share the recipes and the whole process to you. It is a joy to me.
Of course I use a mixer to mix my bread but for many years, I used my hands to mix it so that’s also a possibility if you don’t have a Bosch mixer or something like that to use.
It seems like in the year 2024 there is more people going to making their own bread and do a lot of their own cooking and hope you will benefit from this. Please leave me a comment or like or share this video with your friends and family.

White Bread Recipe
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup oil
4 1/4 cup warm water
3 tablespoons yeast
3 teaspoon salt
12 cups of white flour(you could split up the amount of flour,with some wheat or other flours)
Mix all the wet ingredients together.
So if you are using dry yeast ,soak it afew minutes,in alittle of the water you’ll use in the bread.
If you’re using instant yeast ,mix it in with the first half of flour.
Add half the flour and the salt.Mix well! Add the yeast,(dry or instant) and the remaining flour, again mix well.(3-5 minutes in mixer)
You can tell if the consistency is right ,by kneading the dough w/a slightly oiled hand,and if it’s not sticking, it should be ok.
Next you’ll cover it with a cloth,for 30 minutes, or wait till doubled in size.
Split into 3 large, or 5 smaller loaves,and knead and smack out the bubbles,put into well greased pans.Cover.
Let it double in size again in pans, approx. 30 min. Bake it for 30-35 min. It sould be a golden color all around,top and bottom,
when done! Best wishes!

My next door neighbor has a huge pecan tree. Some of the branches hang over onto my property so I get tons of pecans during the season. So happy about that.

Oh my! What time did you say supper was? lol. I am going to try your cooking especially your hamburger dish… I cook for our volunteers at our church’s food bank once a week, and been looking for easy and simple dishes to make. I am definitely going to make it when I return from medical time off from ministries. Have upcoming surgery, and already claimed my healing in Jesus Name! Trusting in Him and standing on His promises with my medical journey. And I will make the Caesar salad. Exciting can’t wait.
In the meantime I will look for a Bosch mixer or similar to make the bread. My daughter makes her own bread too, so delicious. I probably will play your video a hundred times to get it right lol. Thank you so very much for sharing your kitchen cooking. Love it!
Oh and the pecans! Reminds me of when we lived in Texas as hubby was in the Army at the time, and winter the pecans were everywhere on the ground. Will look and see if there are organic pecans here in Las Vegas. Back home in Hawaii we have no pecan trees, it was my first time to see pecan trees in Texas.

Becky first of all thank you For getting me through a mundane task, I am off today and I'm doing laundry and when I saw your notification this morning I said as soon as that dryer goes off with my final load I'm going to sit and fold the clothes and watch Becky and believe it or not I started with you and I finished with you, so I didn't have anything left over🙂, You have passed on your legacy to Sylvia she's got great kitchen skills, I was going to ask about sourdough, Last Christmas Season my friend had brought me Some of her starter I used it I did well but I think I fed it incorrectly because it molded I threw it away and I haven't really thought about starting one again, It's healthier for you and taste better, A friend brought me a commercially made one and it was really tasteless, If you go to a bakery they usually have a better tasting one, Your mixer seems to be very popular with a lot of the homesteaders on RUclips,love anything with Pecans in it ,thank you for sharing your.day, Have a Blessed and Happy Mothers Day
