Regularly meron repatriation flights sa Belgium about sa mga citizens nila na naapektuhan ng kalamidad, ng terorismo, even this pandemic palagi may flights pauwi, (hindi tinitingnan kung dual citizen ka, basta Belgian ka tutulungan ka nila). Sa Pilipinas naman, i can say the same, may tulong na darating pero marahil matagal pa. So to answer your question anong embassy ang tatawagan ko, i will choose embassy ng Belgium muna.

Hi! Yes you can, I am wondering why Australia wouldn't let you leave, because you have 2 passports, 2 citizenships which you can use to your own advantage.
Dolrich Aguillon the restriction is full on. You have to give a valid reason on why you have to leave the country and if they are not satisfied they won’t let you out of the country. And if they let you out of the country coming back is also very difficult and expensive you have to pay au3000 dollars for 14 days quarantine plus another 1000 au dollars for food. So I was thinking I could probably stay in the philippines for 6 months until the virus settle down maybe by then the lockdown ease

Kung most of your travels is within the EU their policy maybe a lot more lenient or coz their main concern that you come from the Schengen zone has been satisfied with your Belgian passport so stamping the other passport is just for formality. If you try using your passport in a third country outside the EU things might be different.

Yung sakin kasi pinadiretso ko sa court of first instance via language translator ko at ako nalng afterwards pumunta sa DFA at Department of Justice dito. Hello! you have a very good question po. the moment kasi maging citizen ka ng isang bansa bukod sa Pilipinas nawawala po ang Filipino citizenship mo, yan ang sabi ng law natin. Then need mo i re apply ito. Yung passport naman, you can still use it for travel pero it has expiration.

Or better call first our embassy, explain your situation and ask how they could help you with it. I'm sure they could come up with a good solution to your problem po.
IF YOU'RE a dual American citizen and you used the Philippine passport and something happened in the Philippine, especially now that they've an anti Terror law, America cannot help you because you don't used your American Passport. The Philippine government can do anything and the U.S. embassy is helpless. Better secure a visa in the Phil. Consulate if you won't stay in the Philippines for good.

About sa Philippine passport mo naman, medyo tricky yung situation mo, have you tried calling our embassy for concrete answer? Kung ako tatanungin mo since home country mo ang Pinas, you should show your Phil passport for validation at stamping pero unsure naman kasi ako dyan. If ipakita mo US passport mo, you'll be treated as a foreigner kasi yung dual citizenship documents is not valid without the passport.
Pidi po ang Dual Citizenship doc. ang pakita kasama ang US passport mo. Kasi sa experience ko pag uwi 2015 french passport ang pinakita ko hinanapan nila ako ng reacquisition or dual ctzn para hindi nila ako malagyan ng tourist stamp. Automatically kasi mawala na ang filipino ctzn mo pag nag naturalized ka ng ibang bansa.

Hi! Yes you can, I am wondering why Australia wouldn't let you leave, because you have 2 passports, 2 citizenships which you can use to your own advantage.
Dolrich Aguillon the restriction is full on. You have to give a valid reason on why you have to leave the country and if they are not satisfied they won’t let you out of the country. And if they let you out of the country coming back is also very difficult and expensive you have to pay au3000 dollars for 14 days quarantine plus another 1000 au dollars for food. So I was thinking I could probably stay in the philippines for 6 months until the virus settle down maybe by then the lockdown ease

If you are in a Third Country, the country that will help you is the passport of the country that you used to enter the Third country kasi kahit sampu pa ang passport mo you can only use one passport at a time to go through immigration at a port of entry. But it also depends kung anong hawak mong passport. Canada and Australia for example have treaties that allow each other's citizen to seek assistance at either country's embassies if one is not available in the country where their citizens reside. So the best passport to use when entering a Third country is the one that has an embassy there. The same principle applies when you are being deported by a country for whatever reason. They will check what passport you used to enter that country and deport you accordingly. However, there are very rare exceptions to this rule of thumb in cases where you are seeking asylum/protection due to persecution by the government in your home country, civil war etc.

Matanong ko lang i always have this notion to give my 2 passports at the same time sa Immigration officer like, Brussels, Manila and Dubai, then tinatatakan naman nila pareho. I don't think there is a problem with it, isn't it?
@@DolrichAguillon I guess it depends kung saang country ka pumunta. Kung most of your travels is within the EU their policy maybe a lot more lenient or coz their main concern that you come from the Schengen zone has been satisfied with your Belgian passport so stamping the other passport is just for formality. If you try using your passport in a third country outside the EU things might be different.
You can also try using both passports in a country that doesn't recognize dual-citizenship and see how it goes.

Hi ma'am, have you contacted the embassy na for advice? Wala pa kasi new guidelines as of now, mga foreigners without visa ay hindi pa allowed. Sa case niyo po kasi consider foreigner kayo, dati pwede kayo mag travel visa free pa Pilipinas pero dahil sa pandemic naghigpit sila, need niyo muna mga secure ng visa bago makauwi.

Hello! No free healthcare po but it is subsidized. There is also pension here and when it comes to continuing your education, there are lots of post graduate courses to follow. If you're working full time this might be a challenge.

I know it's possible to do po, need mo lang ng name change document at magbigay ng mga added requirements. Minsan nasa website ng embassy natin ang mga info's how to do it, but it is certainly possible. Good luck po.

Hello sir, tama ka, certificate of nationality is yung attest van nationaliteit. Yung sakin kasi pinadiretso ko sa court of first instance via language translator ko at ako nalng afterwards pumunta sa DFA at Department of Justice dito. Meron Court of 1st instance sir sa Brussels, Rue des Quatre Bras 13. Paki double check nalng and good luck sir.

Hi ma'am, di kasi ako familiar pagdating sa system sa Canada pero sa case ko dito sa Belgium, wala naman ako nakikita na disadvantages aside sa double taxation pero naayos ko nadin naman yun. I think po na yung advantages ng dual citizenship outweighs the disadvantages (based po sa case ko).

Hello! you have a very good question po. the moment kasi maging citizen ka ng isang bansa bukod sa Pilipinas nawawala po ang Filipino citizenship mo, yan ang sabi ng law natin. Then need mo i re apply ito. Yung passport naman, you can still use it for travel pero it has expiration.
Kuya, if you acquire a 3rd nationality, will you be able to re-acquire the Filipino citizenship again (2nd time)? If natural-born Filipino ka naman..

I would say yes kasi sa pag reacquire ng citizenship wala nakalagay doon na dapat sa bansa mo yun gawin kung saan ka naging citizen. Hello! Thanks for subscribing po. I can advice you to have an affidavit of loss passport, with that you can apply for a dual citizenship. That is the first thing that comes into my mind. Or better call first our embassy, explain your situation and ask how they could help you with it. I'm sure they could come up with a good solution to your problem po.

IF YOU'RE a dual American citizen and you used the Philippine passport and something happened in the Philippine, especially now that they've an anti Terror law, America cannot help you because you don't used your American Passport. The Philippine government can do anything and the U.S. embassy is helpless. Better secure a visa in the Phil. Consulate if you won't stay in the Philippines for good.

Hello, thank you for watching and i appreciate your feedback po. doon sa part na need mo I provide yung address mo okay lang kahit yung address ng hotel or airbnb kasi for contact tracing naman nila need yun. About sa Philippine passport mo naman, medyo tricky yung situation mo, have you tried calling our embassy for concrete answer? Kung ako tatanungin mo since home country mo ang Pinas, you should show your Phil passport for validation at stamping pero unsure naman kasi ako dyan. If ipakita mo US passport mo, you'll be treated as a foreigner kasi yung dual citizenship documents is not valid without the passport.
