Just did a trip to Venice a couple weeks ago. Amazing experience. Tried every pizza and gelato i can get my hands on. From the pizzas ive tried in the city itself. Farini (did both locations )had the better flavour. However, i wouldnt say spectacular. None of the pizza in Venice was great. I gave it like a 7.3. On the mainland in Mestre there's a place called Vesuvio that had by far the best pizza I've had in Venice. For gelato. By FAR the best was a little place in Burano called Gelato Crema i believe. Far better than Suso. Sirmione at Lake Garda also had really good Gelato.
We are in Venice in June, a pizza and gelato tour sounds great as we are travelling with our 17 year old. Curious about eating in the streets, I had heard that you can’t do that, is that just for the busy tourist areas? This looked like a lot of fun!
Thanks for watching! Let us know which pizza + gelato spots you would try first in the comments😀
Thanks for the reviews and appreciate how you listed all the places. You must have eaten at every single pizza and gelato place :)

We didn’t have any problems! The tap water in Italy is also save to drink in most places so I wouldn’t be concerned.
I think you just can't sit down at some places like on steps, bridges etc.
You missed Antico Forno. That is the best pizza in Venice.
We’ll keep that in mind for when we go back! Thank you
