Keep in mind that there are sevral versions of the rocket 11. One for full range and one for bass. Perfect for bi amping at a quality affordable price. The wire gauge of the bass version is larger than the full range version. Optimized for the bass notes. The full range is more optimized for the mids and delicate highs and great for lows too. There is also a single bi wire version that is not so great. It uses more copper then you need and adds more of an antenna effect to your signal path. The full range version with upgraded jumpers are the way to go. Audioquest Saturn and Jupiter jumpers are top quality and worth if you can afford them. For speakers that require them. Hope this helps someone that is looking for budget speaker cables.

I have this cable now FP. I have to say it gets better as it burns in. So if anyone is buying this cable then please wait for the best sound quality to arrive, you will not get it straight out of the box! Brand new it will sound a little congested, messy, unclear. I am now 15 hours in to a brand new set with the 300 series banana plugs and the sound has dramatically improved. The sound has opened up, become very clear and much more dynamic. At first the bass was barely audible especially after my QED XT25 cables with 312 hrs into their life, the highs were a bit crunchy and the mid range and vocals lacked presence but now that has completely changed. The bass is punchy, tight and powerful mids and vocals brimming with presence and far more open, organic and well separated in fact everything has become better separated, more space in general throughout the sound. Highs have smoothed out lost that crunchy edge. Compared to my XT25 the Rocket 11 is better balanced. The XT25 has a slight lift around the 8hrz region which evens out with the Rocket 11. I have to say it just gets more a more engaging listen as the cable burns in and now am very pleased I bought it. 15 hours in and yes the Rocket 11 proves not to be a disappointment and I agree with What Hifi and their review of the cable. Food for thought most people say give cables of this calibre around 100 hours burn in before the cable gives the full revelation of its tonal character but so far even after just 15 hours things sound already excellent. I am running a Marantz PM6007 amplifier with Monitor Audio Bronze 200 speakers using the HP Prodesk 400 G6 PC with a Creative Audigy FX/V2 -DBPro soundcard with a 1m Chord Clearway X 3.55M to twin RCA to the amp with the Rocket 11 cables. Streaming Apple Music/Spotify and its sounds excellent. A very well matched system. Cheers!
100 hours burn in = amount of time required for pressing oil from a snake a lot of dishonesty bogus science going on in this insanely expensive cable industry (they don't even manufacture their cables but buy them and treat them with this oil)
Definitely not snake oil buddy. Life in general just works that way. Everything new requires a break in time. Even my new JBL 104bt speakers are the same, stiff. After a few hours the speakers loosened up and the bass improved. Also my QED XT25 cable went the same way. Very congested sound at first then after a few hours (20 plus) they loosened up and the sound came through with greater clarity. Just a fact.
@@Panslapper not a fact but a myth. call major cable manufacturers in america and ask about cable burn in. they will give you a straight answer NO. i'm talking about actual manufacturers not resellers
Just bought some of this cable and I like it, I can definitely hear a difference from my original Vandamme Blue cables ….the sound seems a bit clearer and that’s enough for me, I just needed a second pair ( just in case) , very pleased I opted for these!
Cables make enough of a difference to make me spit my audiophile dummy out of the pram at times. Just ordered the Rocket 11 after hours of research. I came down to 3 choices within my budget and system, QED XT40i, Chord Clearway X and these, the Rocket 11 which is now £20 meter. The reason I chose the Rocket 11 was they more or less equated to a combination of the other two.
Yeah your spot on they are a nice balance of the two 👌, i did a silly thing and listened to the type 9 dbs from audioquest and now it's all I can think about lol , I've been saving up for months , at one point I asked my kids if they really needed to eat this week just to put some more money towards them lol
