I think the Mirror was a cool boss. For some reason, I love his defeated quote after Aqua beats him. It was an interesting idea having the Mirror being the boss for the Dwarf Woodlands for Aqua and Terra.
still a fun boss fight yes
although what did become of the Evil Queen's castle after she bit the dust?
What happened to the queen? >.>
She died like in the movie
But the mirror is all knowing so it would know there situation as well.
The Queen's voice actress in this is great! She sounds just like she did in the original film!
Thought the same thing; Lucille La Verne( the Original voice actress) would be proud!
Susan Blakeslee who also played Maleficent and Lady Tremaine in BBS as well
@AT Productions Actually are the same voice i don't see a diference
I was so excited when I learned he was a boss battle. When I was little I loved the Magic Mirror.
Birth by Sleep definitely had the coolest boss fights out of any Kingdom Hearts game. The only problem was that you had to spend hours levelling up and melding commands in order to beat them
True.
Oddly, the Mirror is kinda like Genie was during the first Jafar boss fight in KH1.
He appears to warn you before he attacks.
Vanity is great darkness.
The Queen doesn't see.
True beauty comes from caring.
A secret to you from me.
The Queen: "You dare return here you blundering fool?"
Terra: "what u talkin bout?"
Laughed harder than I should have.
Just realized the mirror can look beyond other worlds, like Star butterfly's mirror.
Pretty sure stars mirror is supposed to be a reference
This boss was terrifying to look at
I think Terra might be the only person to actually thank the Mirror.
One thing I never understood, was the change they made to the scene before the fight from the JP version to the ENG version. In the original, when she yells at the mirror about its defiance, she instead starts getting angry and glowing red, as if the dark negative emotions were growing so powerful it caused the mirror itself to become more powerful, even the mirror started to glow red, then it burst out the light and the fight begins normally. However as we see in the ENG version she instead throws a potion at the mirror causing it to convulse and choke slightly then it burst into light and the fight begins. - - - Don't get me wrong I like the potion version better simply due to the canon of the queen being an alchemist (like the film and her potion to make her old and ugly, and the poison apple), but the other version lends itself more to the story of the Unversed and the negative emotions affecting the world. Still both are good.
Yes. And it's especially strange considering that in the enemy catalogues, The Spirit of the Magic Mirror is listed as an Unversed, which wouldn't make sense with the English scene edit.
I didn't even know this!
Terra: is that all???....
Magic Mirror: ‐_‐
The camera movement from the mirror's eyes always gives me chills.... And I love it
This was such a cool bossfight. Visuals were amazing.
This reminds me a bit of the andross boss fight, from star fox :o
3:54; “Beyond both light and dark he dwells, where war was waged upon the fells.”
The Magic Mirror was referring to Master Xehanort’s location to the Keyblade Graveyard
Jason Dohring As Terra 😊😊😊😊😊😊
Susanne Blakeslee As The Evil Queen 😊😊😊😊😊😊
Corey Burton As Magic Mirror 😊😊😊😊😊😊
Terra has to be careful not to get attacked by the spirit of the Magic Mirror or you'll get cursed by the spirit of the Magic Mirror.
am I the only one that found this fight creapy as fuck?
0:22 how come nobody in the comments mention that sick burn
"I said, give me that goddamn mirror!"
The Evil Queen threw a potion on the Magic Mirrior and turned it into an Unversed
I'm trying to figure out how that's possible but maybe kingdom hearts dark road will explain that part
Why The queen sound like Maleficent?
That's because they're both voiced by Suzanne Blakeslee.
And Lady Tremaine.
Also Wanda on the Fairly Odd Parents.
*hears the Queen's voice*
Maleficent is that you?
Same voice actor
But the toning and accent is different but same person if you think and hear really well between the two
"Stop!!" " ouch" :D lol how come nobody knows to just run down the face corridor when he does that move? :/
0:47 Count Dooku!
My nightmares be like:
Man, this boss on hardest difficulty (with Aqua).... let's just say that I couldn't do it on the first try...
Ebeg ba
and now ruclips.net/video/coQhQ22Ank4/видео.html
Look for the smiling one.
Haa ha ha ha ha
God what an amazing boss fight, just started Birth by Sleep today and this fight totally caught me offguard with its visuals
Why'd the change the Queen's darkness possessing the mirror to smashing a potion on it.
Censorship makes no sense.
To be less unintentionally funny.
Because that would mean that the queen created an unversed but Vanities can only do that but people with negative emotions like Cinderella's step mother and stepsisters can take control of the unversed
Oh my God Good Luck Terra!
*Evil Queen:* "Magic Mirror, kill him!"
*Mirror:* "I can't. All I can do is answer questions."
*Evil Queen:* "Oh, is that so? Well, that's easy enough to fix."
[Evil Queen uses potion on Mirror]
*Mirror:* "Oh, okay! I guess it's killing time!"
way to go!

How'd the mirror not shatter after the Queen threw a potion at it.
Magic
She may have just thrown it at the floor and let the splash and fumes do the work :)
In the jp version it was her darkness that turned the mirror not a potions
Magic Mirror on the wall...
This boss was so fun beat him on proud
Take that you stepmother for hurting the mirror how dare you. So the keyblade grave yard that is where the war began and both darkness and light fell fighting for that precious light the xkeyblade that would control kingdom hearts.
To be completely honest- Corey Burton's voice as the Magic Mirror is way better than Tony Jay's because he makes good choices while the 1992 voice actor of him made a bad choice. Plus, Corey Burton is normal and Tony Jay was insane.
Who Voiced Magic Mirror In 1937
@@zackrules4797 Moroni Olsen.
...what bad choices you idiot
guys do you know this soundtrack name ? In KH2 xion s fight 2nd form also used same soundtrack
Vim and Vigor
@@nickwerner7983 yeah thx:)
Who Voiced The Magic Mirror In This.
Corey Burton I believe.
@@meh9705 Count Dooku!
Why is the mirror an Unversed according to the wiki?!
When the queen threw mountain dew on it, it turned into an unversed.
Terestrasz That makes no sense, unversed come from Vanitas.
Raximus3000 Apparently that's what the wiki says. o.O Unless Vanitas like, created the mirror spirit and send it to the wicked queen.
Terestrasz If you think about it the unverse are affected by people with negative emotions remember Cinderela's stepmother and her daughters, how they send that unverse against her and how the miror knew where Xehanort was, meaning it was part of their scheme all along.
Raximus3000 Possibly. If like, her emotions caused the mirror to become an unversed, IN the japanese version, she grunts at the mirror and it gets angry, which apparently caused it to get possessed or something.
Link vs the magic mirror
0:29 xenoblade chronicles anyone?
Does it bother anyone that The Queen is voice by the same Voice Actress who also voices Maleficent?
No not really. Cinderella's step mom is the same.
She's just really food at voicing villians.
Maybe they were going by the voice actress. Evil Queen, Lady Tramaine, AND Maleficent in the Disney films were voice by the same person, Elenor Audrey. Sooo probably tradition to do the same here.
No t is such a small role and the characters are so similar
Meh. You're thinking of Eleanor AudLey, not Audry. She was the original voice of Maleficent and Lady Tremaine, but she was NOT the original voice for the Queen. The Queen (both in her normal form and hag disguise) was voiced by early film and stage actress Lucille La Verne. She was in her mid 60's when she voiced the Queen, and she simply removed her false teeth whenever she had to voice the hag. Susanne Blakeslee simply voices a lot of Classic Disney Villainess' nowadays, regardless of who their voice actors were. She is the modern voice actress for Maleficent, Lady Tremaine, the Queen, AND Cruella. I'm pretty sure one of the only classic female villains she DOESN'T voice currently is The Queen of Hearts, who was originally voiced by Verna Felton in the 1951 Alice movie. Her modern voice actress is Tress MacNeil, mostly known for being Daisy Duck's voice actress.
God, so glad they fixed the wicked queen just grunting.
....instead she throws mountain dew all over the mirror.
waste of soda-_-
I need to know the name of this music

FredoRex thanks
