Lisa Hurwitz and "The Automat"

In a program hosted by the San Diego International Jewish Film Festival at the San Diego Center for Jewish Culture, first-time filmmaker Lisa Hurwitz shared unreleased clips and told stories from the making of "The Automat." The upcoming documentary features interviews with Mel Brooks, Carl Reiner, Elliott Gould and Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
The film, in the final phase of production, brings to life the 100-year love story between Horn & Hardart and the American public.
