I begin to do this in the early 1990's when there was not internet and no tablet to copy from it i was using a VHS cassette i put the table in front of the TV and put pause on the scene that i want to draw, i use to draw allot from animes like G.I. Joe transformers and others...
the only problem that the scene does not freeze for a long time when the picture goes, I would rewind and stop on the same scene when it was before. But now its more easy to do it you take screenshot and put it on your tablet and draw and with the tablet there is a small issue after minutes the tablet turns off and I have to press the on button every few minutes, but its more easy then the VHS.
