I left the Veterans Cemetery a few hours ago. When I got back in my car, this song was starting on my CD. It had been cloudy, a girl came over to me and gave me a hug. I did not know her. I was so emotional and crying. As soon as she walked away, the sun came out of nowhere!!!!!!! Beaming on my shoulders as I was touching daddy’s marker, feeling his name etched in marble as if I was reading Braille. Well, I cried all the way home with this on repeat. It was a profound moment in my life. My daddy sent her to me. Light My Love. He wanted me to know he was ok. Thank you GVF. ❤️

I first heard this song on the way to the hospital to be with my grandma who was passing away. This was only a week ago. Every time I hear this song I think of her. This song is so deep and beautiful. Brings tears to my eyes. Greta is very talented! The lead singers voice is absolutely amazing, I feel all the emotions in his voice.
This is my first listen to the song, and first reading of the lyrics. The song is very expressive of what has been the band's overarching message (underlying values and ideals), since their origins, those of ove, unity and peace. It's a beautiful message, continuing in 2020/21 what my generation brought to new life in the 60's. And for me, this is indeed a beautiful thing.....and so necessary now as it was then, and before then.....on and on..... It's a timeless and universal message found throughout all genre of artistic expression. The lyrics work, musically and poetically. This is a very good song, being more of a ballad than an anthem. Sam's piano intro, and interplay throughout the song, is peaceful - thus the theme is well established from the opening notes. Beautiful song guys, thanks...! Keep it going! ☮️🙏
