I think this is honestly the first time that someone has spoke of suicide on youtube and there hasn't been an army of people calling him/her a pussy for it. But I feel you man, things get better. Sunrise is one of my favorites and it's helped me out a lot. Stick in there. Work will come and go and your father will always be with you in some way or another. I am like the biggest ADTR fan ever, and I've listened to every single one of their songs about a million times each. Unfortunately they eventually started to get a little old. Since then, I've been searching for a band that really draws emotion from me the same way they did. Found it.
i know it's subjective, but i so agree. the way they incorporate screaming really drives home the emotion. they don't need it for the whole song and it works better that way.

I love how the lyrics actually mean something! I lost a friend to suicide and Sunrise literally broke my heart. The lyrics are beautiful and the sound is amazing. I love this band's new sound. They've put off a nice alternative rock sound mixed with that post-hardcore vibe. It's perfect for people that like hardcore instrumentals but just don't like a lot of screaming. A nice heavy band you can listen to around older family that isn't so much into all the screaming, but they still have screaming here and there for the people that do like it. Very nice :)
This band is extremely musical in the way they compose music, rather than filling the songs with riffs and random licks here and there. This band has gone outside the box and created a world of music. Great album and I hope to hear more.

I have so many feels about so many different things and so many different people. My mate is currently living across the country from me. He's homeless and struggling with his health right now. I feel completely helpless. I wish they would add a TINY bit more screams to their sound, but other than that, this is incredible. My justification for more screams is 25:23. That transition he has is unreal.

I wish they would add a TINY bit more screams to their sound, but other than that, this is incredible. My justification for more screams is 25:23. That transition he has is unreal.

They screamed more in other albums. I agree that more screaming sounds better, listen to "Liberate Me" if you haven't yet. That one's my favorite song by them.

Classic album, I remember when they released it. Final song is my favorite, definitely saved the best till last! Absolutely love the cover btw, really atmospheric.
I had this album on loop back then during my 30 min commute to school on bicycle. And you are right, oak island is the best song in this album. Like a good ending to a story.

when i heard Sunrise for the very first time, i started to cry. i cried so bad, actually. what this song is about is something i can relate to, so it got right under my skin. i love how music has the power to bring up such emotions. not many things have. thank you guys so much. guess you made a new fan. ♥

I just recently discovered you guys and this album is absolutely amazing. I am so glad you guys are now singing songs that show off your awesome vocal chords. This music means something and you guys are now one of my absolute favorites. Wish you could make it to the west coast. This album joins my rodeo collection to help me prepare before and after competition. Believe it or not, a lot of cowboys and cowgirls mentally prepare with music like yours and not country. Keep up the good work!!

Every song put out by Our Last Night is beautiful and genius. I listen to the Oak Island and Younger Dreams albums (as well as other songs) almost every day and I love every song. They make me feel such an array of emotion that has become close to an addiction that I couldn't imagine going without. Thank you Our Last Night for being my favorite band.
