I love Dalriada with my entire heart, actually is my favorite band ever. But it is quite difficult for me to understand the lyrics from hungarian because of my native language. I researched hungarian history, wars, facts, events and even Janos Arany literature in order to understand the context from many songs of the band (mainly Arany album, Igeret, Jégbontó and my favorite song of all Árpádházi Margit Balladája ). I really end up falling in love with Hungary and its history and language. Sadly I fail trying to understand the lyrics from this song. It seems to me like the song talks about a very deep sadness for an old lost glory but I am not sure. I can't understand most part of the lyrics 😥 Please could someone explain to me the meaning of the song or at least translate it to English, french or spanish. Thanks in advance.

I've tried my best to give you a proper translation, but it's far from easy.
The Hungarian lyrics are very rich, expressive, also my English could be better as well...
The poem is a conversation, a prayer of/for the Hungarian soldiers in hiding, wishing back their freedom and glory, wishing that they could come back to their homes.
The word 'bujdosó' refers to the soldiers who after the lost revolutions or battles went into hiding (usually abroad, self-exile) instead of choosing execution, imprisonment or serving a decade in the enemy's army.

Bús fejünket vad kősziklák rejtögetik, lappontgatják.
Bujdosó: - Our long faces are hidden, covered by the rocks in the wild.
Jártunk-keltünk eltakarja erdők, berkek bús avarja.
