Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 is a real-time strategy video game by Westwood Pacific, which was released for Microsoft Windows on October 23, 2000 as the follow-up to Command & Conquer: Red Alert. Red Alert 2 picks up at the conclusion of the Allied campaign of the first game. Its expansion is Command & Conquer: Yuri's Revenge.
Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2 contains two playable factions, the Soviets and the Allies, which both previously appeared in Command & Conquer: Red Alert. The single player campaign is structured in an alternate-ending mode as opposed to a progressive story mode. Red Alert 2 was a commercial and critical success, receiving an 86% from GameRankings.
When I was a kid this was the first mission that I got stuck on, especially with the "oh crap, nukes!" moment. But now this is one of my favorite missions.

I did a turtling strategy in the early parts of the mission. I destroy the neutral buildings on that central island on my base and build 3 more Airforce Command HQs and build 16 Harriers that I will use once the enemy built a Nuke Silo. I capture the Tech Ariport to the north and establish a secondary base there since the enemy will try to capture it too. I build Pillboxes instead of Prism Towers to consume less power. I'll train at least 10 Rocketeers and IFVs that will guard my base. For the offense, I use Destroyers and Aircraft Carriers to soften up the base and lands the paratroopers there.
This was the first mission in this campaign where I experienced the enemy actively dropping troops and sending other forces either by land or sea. Like I got tensed up. 😂
I remember doing this mission in like 5 minutes with some rocketeers... Just build some and send them to the island, destroy the construction yard and youre done. :D
lol Listen, for the first time I did this mission, the Soviet MCV just got stuck! I didn't understand why they weren't attacking me, and then when I drove to the island I saw it lol
@@zoom3000 Wow, that is a strange thing and never happened to me. :D But I remember when I did this mission for the first time it was pretty hard. :D
And if youre fast enough, you can finish it even faster by destroying that little turret on the small island before the big one where the soviets build their base. :D
@charly.961 that will only work if the soviets dont have an MCV already.
Ahh, Deep Sea... A mission that I hate alongside Fallout, Chrono Defense and Red Revolution back then
The last missions in Allied and Soviet campiagn alike are the best.
@@zoom3000 got that right.. although in the allied one, we've been handicapped by nuke and iron curtain unless if we act fast
That sentry on lone island is quickest key to victory, unless they established a base
I don't remember them getting nukes on this level.
I thought nukes destroyed all structures that aren't construction yard in one hit
Construction yard, naval shipyard, other superwearpons (exception is in the mission Weathered Alliance), nuclear power plant are all resistant to superweapons. I think the cloning vat/ore purifier too, but not too sure.
As for units, all miners, apocalypse tanks, and I believe the dreadnought/aircraft carrier as well.
You might be playing on Easy difficulty. Reset the mission after you set your difficulty.
I can beat that mission in 5 minutes. All you gotta do is send some rocketeers over to that island, and destroy the soviet MCY and then you won't have to worry about the nukes.

Faster way-there’s a small garrison island that has a Soviet defense turret gun and a garrison hut. Destroy that before the Soviet MCV arrives and the mission ends
I played today. I just started to scouting and I destroy that anti-infantry station on small island and got "you are victorious". WTF

i want to know how can i select all same builds please? like trunks builds for example
You can select 1 unit for example and click on "T" then it will select all the same type of units in the screen. Dubel click on "T" will select all the units of the same type on the map. It may work on buildings as well, try it

why the enemy of mine when using a silo attacked my foot soldier barracks instead of the navy ? its annoying because my army barracks was in the middle of the base it cause a huge damage

Do they have nukes only on Hard mode?
I think they have nuclear in each difficulty, but i never played easy or medium.
The enemy will build Nuke silo no matter the difficulty

Hey Yunus, its the Allied Campiagn mission number 7
tried to replay this game this a modern era and realized how terribly designed it was, such un-fun AI to play against, the sheer cheating the AI has in most missions makes it totally unsatisfying. You can't whittle away structures because they will just immediately rebuild them. And they have infinite money of course no matter how many enemy Harvesters you snipe. Every mission objective just to eliminate all enemy forces. No 'strategy' other than to survive the endless waves of attacks until you have such a crushingly large army you can barely push through. Was a real slog of a game. Sayonara year 2000.
