    Thanks for this Chip. Quick question - can a quick text message be used to cancel a SOS, rather than typing that into the device in a conversation with the IERCC?

    The maps don’t work on earthmate or inreach. Its a terrible UI. Never had any maps thousands of dollars later.

      You have to know how to use it. And why would you spend thousands of dollars for something that only cost a few hundred? Maps on both the app and Inreach work flawlessly.

    Why is this so complicated for the end user? DOES IT REALLY HAVE TO BE THIS COMPLICATED??

    This would have been helpful BEFORE I began my Big Bend NP back country trip. 🤷🏻‍♂️
    I was able to get a lot of information from other RUclips channels. 😁
