Fun story I was at reading last year main stage watching ffdp when it turned into a pretty brutal mosh like I'm not a small guy and love it but I was even like wtf is this sow a tiny 5ft girl as the wall of death was opening in the middle with nothing but fully grown men around and most of the girls had gone or not that many came in the first place but anyway I was thinking should I go help her she's gonna die in the middle then suddenly she charges at me and punches me in the eye when I was leaving to go back to camp some 6ft guy in front of me was telling his friend about a 5ft girl who ran out of nowhere and pushed him over I think she deserves to be famous
I don't see what's wrong with just standing there watching the band play. I've seen Between the Buried and Me live four times and I always try and get the best seat to watch Blake and Dan play(drummer and bassist) because they are so fucking good.
I believe there's a difference between people standing still and watching a show and people who try to look as bored as possible while watching a show. If you think that they are "so fucking good" then you won't probably look unimpressed while seeing them.
Just don't do it at any show where it's anything sort Barrier/Villians kinda vibe. Found out the hard way that you get punched in the face for watching the band play because 'not swinging your arms like an autistic fuck face is gay.'
Matthew Brown Yeah, I started going to shows in New York instead, still has douches like that but not as bad, some of the shows I went to there have been pretty awesome. Seeing Periphery in NYC in 2 months. Can't wait.
I'm a mosher, but there's a correct way to start a mosh and punching isn't it. Usually I end up shoulder bumping someone 2 or 3 times to see if they respond. If not, then no mosh. I think that's pretty respectful.
I went to see TheOffspring and I was lucky enough to snag some 1st row spots because at that concert it was first come first serve. To my right there was a “this is Sparta guy” and to my left was a “smoking weed and drinking beer is a good combination guy”. I still got to enjoy the show but I walked out of there with a bruised rib and a cut on my cheekbone. It was still the night of my life
Join the club... at Delain (yeah, not especially hardcore, a friend invited me) I was jumping and headbanging so hard that in a fairly packed venue, the guy behind me took a step back and no-one filled the gap. I'm told. I was a bit disorientated, and just noticed that I seemed to be jumping on his feet less.
I'd be a mix of OMG I LOVE THESE GUYS and don't hurt me. Cuz I'd be stoked to see my fave band, but I'm relatively short and don't want to get swept up in a mosh pit or lost in the crowd.
Saw underoath 2 days ago (favorite band) and i was "just waiting for the headliner" for the first two sets, then i was "OMG I LOVE THESE GUYS" for their whole set. It was such a good show
I hate those guys the most! More Often than not have a backwards cap and the same bottle of beer all night. When they get in front me I sing along extra annoyingly. Seriously, chill man not everybody wants the slag that dragged your sorry ass to the show!
I've been there several times. Unimpressed whenever bad music pops up, whiskey is good whenever a song about alcohol pops up (though I prefer to live a clean life without any alcohol), and the following whenever a metal song comes on; this is sparta, shred 'til you're dead head, so you think you can dance, and omg I love these guys.
When I go concerts I'm below "This is Sparta!" but I don't just like stand still. I really get into the music, start rocking out, devil horns, that sway you do forwards and backwards, I headbang sometimes. My dad always wants to sit down though during concerts so I never get to get up and right into the heart of the music. There are way too many people who just kind of stand there and stare at the band.
"this is sparta" guys and "don't hurt me" guys are usually right next to each other
the irony is great in that isnt it xD
I mosh like that sometimes
@@bigp1453 it has nothing to do with moshing. it's ok at hardcore concerts or something, cause thats where they belong. but not at a metal show.

0249er brutal mosh and ffdp should never be used in the same sentence
That was awkward to read. Learn to use commas and full stops.
Proper punuctaion is super metal,
I don't see what's wrong with just standing there watching the band play. I've seen Between the Buried and Me live four times and I always try and get the best seat to watch Blake and Dan play(drummer and bassist) because they are so fucking good.
There's nothing wrong. According to the video, we are all assholes. :)
YES! Spot on. Thank you for that laugh today.
It was still the night of my life
What about "The dude who jumps" kind of fans? And "The one who sings during the whole show instead of listenning to the singer"? 'CauseI'm those two!
Velcro DeClue I'm too! I remember jumping so high in an Opeth show that I almost landed with my crotch on some dude's back.
You, sir, are a gentlemen and a scholar.
If we ever bump into each other at a show, remind me to buy you a pint!
Yeah, count me in on the "guy who sings the whole show" :-)
Im the Whiskey is Good which turns me into the The one who sings during the whole show instead of listenning to the singer"?
I'd be a mix of OMG I LOVE THESE GUYS and don't hurt me. Cuz I'd be stoked to see my fave band, but I'm relatively short and don't want to get swept up in a mosh pit or lost in the crowd.
Literally me
Me at almost every show lol
Yep this is definitely me! I do a lot of "Waiting for the headliner" because normally I only come for the 1 band.
+Digital Screams
What deadmau5 has to do with metal XDD :P
UndiscoveredAbyssOfYourSoul92TexasDayIsEstate Nothing much I guess but I like EDM and hard rock all the same :3
Saw underoath 2 days ago (favorite band) and i was "just waiting for the headliner" for the first two sets, then i was "OMG I LOVE THESE GUYS" for their whole set. It was such a good show
You're a legend, Jare Dines! I bow to you!!
You forgot the "Girlfriend Babysitter" and the "Gets angry when they get hit/shoved when they're on the edge of the mosh pit".
I hate those guys the most! More Often than not have a backwards cap and the same bottle of beer all night. When they get in front me I sing along extra annoyingly. Seriously, chill man not everybody wants the slag that dragged your sorry ass to the show!
Jacob G Right
Where's the drunk shirtless guy who goes all over the concert throwing horns up and spilling beer everywhere and won't stop shouting.
+Erick Esquivel Soooooooo basically the drunk guy?
+Wade Wilson (Deadpool) lol I guess Wade but nah this one a bit different.
Mix of the "whiskey is good" guy and that one old dude
Your videos are soo fun!
I've been there several times. Unimpressed whenever bad music pops up, whiskey is good whenever a song about alcohol pops up (though I prefer to live a clean life without any alcohol), and the following whenever a metal song comes on; this is sparta, shred 'til you're dead head, so you think you can dance, and omg I love these guys.
the guys that goes into moshpit with beer so people slip because it and break their necks
lmao so true
I was on the edge of a pit once and people were spilling beer all over us non-moshers.
TheIronDragonBrigade glad to hear that there are nice guys in pit.
I would probably be the Please Don't Hurt Me one...
Isabelle Metcalfe Yeah me too, I'm a short girl and I'd be freaking out lol. x')
same
I'm a 5.3 guy and I'm always like "DON'T HURT ME D: " ._.
Hazel Bourget Same
I'm 6 feet and I'd still be the please don't hurt me one
“this is sparta” people ruin the show for everyone 😪 nobody wants to get punched while they’re trying to jam to a song
