Pretty cool! I put a wired version on my 1999 Prelude just cause it had an option. My tint is limo though so it helps, like you said. Do you happen to know any good tuners? My K24A2 1989 CRX might need one. I'm also in the process of rebuilding my transmission in my 2005 RSX Type S.

If you block out the rear LED, I wonder how much visibility you'll lose trying to use the rear camera at night in dark places? Probably not an issue in well lit parking lots like the one you were in though. But yeah that would def be an issue with cops looking to pull you over for whatever reason.
Honestly it didn't seem to make much difference when it's completely dark. When I reverse the reverse lights give more than enough light so the LEDs didn't do much for me.
Great Video! i miss your CRV content! can you do a follow up video of you actually passing the wire from the dash to the rear? i'm trying to figure out how to run the wire through side panel in the trunk space to go through the hatch door housing. Also, can you do a video on replacing a rack and pinion and steering hoses?
Thanks! This is wireless, no working from the dash to the rear. The only wiring was power for the backup camera which I showed where I put mine. No plans for a rack and pinion as mine is in good shape. I only make videos when I need to fix something on my cars, sorry.

Is your crv terrible on gas? Wondering if it’s just the nature of these. I got an 01 that just eats gas, granted prices keep going up plus its awd and has AT tires on it, but damn i spend at least $60 a week on gas just commuting around town.
Since I've bought it I've tracked 22.5k miles on it and I've averaged 21.8 mpg. These don't get good gas mileage 20-24 mpg's is normal for them unfortunately.

I wondered too, but no. I watched some others videos and it does the same thing. It's to help illuminate when it's completely dark behind you.

There is a brightness setting you can adjust, but not a quick dimmer switch.

Probably bad seals on the distributor.
@Garage Built Hondas just figured it out. The o ring wasn't thick enough. I just replaced it last night, and no leaks
