Leonard Cohen is one of my all time favourite artists ever. Noone has ever equalled his performance of this song. Until now that it is & you, Janet, for me haven't just equalled it you surpassed it. I loved the stillness and integrity of your performance. It has a devine quality to it which is gorgeous. I've just shared this vid with my uncle who introduced me to Leonard when I was just 19. I am 50 years old this June and my uncle will be 70 later this year. This song is special because he & my aunt are special and I associated this song with them. This song was like a gift you gave me. Thank you

My first big love and I met when we were young teenagers, over the internet. We were head over heels for eachother, but we lived a whole country apart. It took us years to save up money to see eachother, and when we finally did it was the closest thing i ever came to experience real magic. This song will always be ours and even if that time is a distant memory it's still something i hold dear to my heart and this song and cover perrectly encapsulates everthing i loved about her and our time together. You know the thing that makes me love you the MOST is that you could be out there only caring about yourself, money, etc yet here you are always giving people what THEY want and not becoming a commercial singer for the sake of stardom. I am so proud of you and I KNOW your parents are as well.
Your voice is magic, and when I'm depressed, feeling like life is no longer worth it, I can listen to you and find new reasons to live, even if its just to listen to performers like you, even for another 3 minutes... you made it worth while to continue to breath.
